Hn, and so the sun was finally setting. While the day had been normal as the rest, it was so uneventful and almost too hot out that the day seemed to slowly go on forever. So it was with relief that Manjii looked up to the distant horizon with his mane draping shade to his eyes. The sun was barely a liquid lining now on the mountains, and the lands around him took on a sort of blue and cool glow. The moments before nightfall, they seemed almost otherworldly at times.
Snuffing his nostrils, the male turned his neck as he finally debated his path. He'd been relaxing for hours now in this same meadow. Enjoying the light grass and trotting among shallow puddles of lakes. It was time he left this terrain and go explore the deeper parts of these lands. But it was these deeper lands that made Manjii' hesitant, for they were dreary with aged trees, and the soil below grew more and more moist before vanishing all together under murky waters. Nothing too frightening, save for the strong sense of spirits whispering among the area. It made his short fur stand on end.
