I don't really have too much of a problem with any of this except I don't know any vampire variants in which they don't breathe. I know their breath won't create fog in the cold for various reasons, but I've always been under the impression that they still had to take in air, especially to talk.
Also, since when has not having an erection been a bad thing? Tons of girls only really get off through clitoral stimulation and a guy that lasts a long time without getting tuckered out from blowing a load would probably be viewed as an even better thing.

There was some series I read (...possibly laurel k hamilton's anita blake stuff, but also maybe Interview w/ a Vampire?) where as long as they had fed recently they could sustain an erection.
