"And you think this is the way to do it?" Sera snapped back. Fifty Nine? She hated to admit it but he looked good for it. "They might physically become adult much faster than a child done the old-fashion way but that doesn't mean they want their parent dead any sooner."
Her eyes looked down at the slowly stirring ruby hair of her daughter. "Though I wouldn't blame yours if you got one."
The blue eyes snapped over to Jonas, carrying a warning in their eyes. Lorena was picking up her head with a moan and Sera wanted the man to shut his mouth.
"Mommy? What happened? Why does my head hurt?"

"Yes. Trust me when I say peace ends bloody." He said as he ran a hand through his hair tiredly. It was still daytime and he felt this tired. Hearing her second response however he looked away for a moment as the thought hit him. Anther thirty years is nothing compared to her fifty or sixy years.
He decided to leave her last comment untouched. Jonas did look back in time to see the glare and the sudden movement of the little girl. A shrug was his only response as he stood up.
"I'm going to get you both something to drink. And something for her headache." He said walking away with out waiting for a reply.
