jgrullon88 SongofPraise neo-hippy I am white, left handed, red headed, 15 y/o, christian, gay and Australian. They pick on me sometimes, but i try to respect my enemys at the same time. Gay? Do you mean gay as in happy with life? Sadly, he means gay as in homosexual. I've been discriminated a lot for being a Christian, because I stand to the rules of God, and no subjective creature has the authority to deny what the Lord Almighty, three times Holy, has said in His Word. But thanks to God, I'm starting to make really good Christian friends, so I can dwell in this world and receive comfort both through the Holy Spirit and through them. What do you mean by "Sadly"? stare

One time I accidently went into an athiest chat room and they said some horrible things about Jesus and Mary and made fun of me. I tried to help them but some people are too stubborn. Even though they didn't believe a word I said when I left I asked God to forgive them like any Christian should

they pick on me at school b/c i'm n2 stuff like sex and cussing. i just shrug it but sometimes its hard 2 feel like an outkast sad

I usually don't get bugged. But then I also have a somwhat intimidating face, wieg 230, and am 6'5. So that could have something to do with it I guess.,

I dont really get bugged im usually really quiet cause im just very shy around people so i dont really get too many chances to share anything about myself.
But there was a time were these girls were picking on my friend my friend would move to another location and they would follow her and just want to tourment her...and not cause she was christian but because she was really nice and a bit dense.....for some reason it gets to people. I asked them to leave her alone and they wouldent stop they usually just ignore me and i thought ok...i think i should comfort her with prayer so i went up to her and told her it was going to be ok to just ignore them and picture jesus holding your hand they cant hurt you trust me just dont listen to what they say they are just trying to make you feel bad about yourself i told her.
so when we were talking they over heard me mention the Lord and started kinda making fun of it ...like saying so your christian ..so your like a good two shoes?? you dont cuss or anything? and some other stuff that makes no sense....but i ignored them and after me and her talked i started spending every lunch period with her and they eventually got annoyed that we talked and ignored them .
i guess we gave them nothing to tourment anymore so it lost it's fun and they eventually stopped. sadly if i wasnt there previously they sometimes swarm over her but she be ok actually when this sometimes happend after that talk. They actually started being nicer to us i guess prayer worked they stopped being so nasty and mean...they had thier momments though...i just wonder why they come to our table everyday just for that purpose....
.-. but i have to say rarely do i directly in my face get tourmented for being a christian. ^_^

Follow Christ's example and the tormentor will begin to question what you believe. If the tormentors question for themselves then they are searching for God. You cannot receive God without receiving Christ.

At my school. they praise the demon lord below. But when they heard i praise the Great Lord above. They started to hate me. i was even beaten up for it. crying

We have prayer meeting at school, and once there were people outside the classroom and you could hear them saying " Hahaha look at the people praying, theyre christians" and it was kinda sad, but we just prayed louder. And we prayed for them.

I've never, personally, been picked on for it but I have a lot of friends who have been. I pray about them every night. Some of them have contemplated giving up Christianity... it's hard. I never really know what to say to them.

Here's my opinion.
If you haven't been persecuted, even in the tiniest way, you're doing something wrong.
Jesus says we should actually praise God when we are persecuted - that we've stood out as Christians enough to unsettle someone else.
This translates into:
If you haven't shown you're a Christian, on fire for God, and willingly put your life out on the line {Okay, maybe not your life, but maybe your friendship or popularity } then you haven't been persecuted.
I look at it as:
If I'm not being persecuted, I'm going to go further out there for Christ.
Certainly nothing extremist, but you know what I mean.
