Daichi looked away for a moment because he saw something shiney. Then, a scent caught his nose. "What smells like deer?" he asked as he turned toward Rei. Then the atomic shockwave rendered his question moot.

They figured it was probably Daichi, since he was prone to doing mental math when calculating projectile paths. They always questioned why he would choose such relatively useless weapons, but decided that it would just be because he was the dumbest smart-*** ever made.

Background Information
She's been in the Sand village the entire life, however her past is a darkened one. She was always in trouble, using her smart mouth to enrage people and be the class clown and bringing dishonor to her family. One night, close to the time of her enrollment into the military, her family tried to get her to change her ways with an intervention. She blatantly disregarded their statements and pleas, and so her family lost hope. They told her to leave, and not come back until she had learned her ways. They made it quite clear their lives would be better without here. It's been a month, and she's enjoying every minute of it. She didn't care about the risks of the military because she just wanted to go and do stuff instead of being told what she can't do all the time. Little did she know just how much her personality would clash with that of the military...
