This is a philosophical topic on pop culture and celebrity worship. Not religion, politics, or any other testy subject.

To me, people enjoy talking about celebrities. Whether it be something like "Oh my God, I love Justin Beiber!" or "Justin Beiber's a weird kid with a girl's voice." Often I hear either priase or outright mockery. As for me, you'll hear "As a person he might be cool. But I can't really take so much interest in his work. Pop to me is a shallow genre. It has some questional messages. He works hard and does not deserve people making fun of him. But People getting too excited like some do is annoying." That was just a specific but balanced judgement. I'm not insulting or praising him. I gave a compliment and an opinion. Lol. It would be interesting if he actualy read this. But seriously. Alot of people treat celebrities as Gods. Basicaly, it appears as if you can sum up the judgement people give to be religious. As people debate God, Devil, and pagan dieties (not getting religious), people treat celebrities as these entities. I don't judge a celebrity as a person. Why, I never met them, let alone gotten to know them. I judge the fans more. If their admiration goes from annoyingly fixated to creepy obsessive, if their dislike turns into gossip or mockery just for fun, I will judge. Often I address a fan I'm bothered by by a religious title, like "highbriest of Miley cyrus". Yeah I know. lol. It sounds a little jerkish, but no ones a saint. If I judge a person, I judge deeply. Atleast give me credit for that. A conversation based on positivity towards the star, or negativity, that's fine. Constant conversations or obsessions aren't. If the conversation is basicaly noisy and/or disruptive to every one else around, that's also bad. Another aggrivating form of this is judging a person for liking or disliking an actor, artist, or ect. Not to mention judging them for not being as much of a fan as you or not hating them as much. A simple boundary makes it okay. Now all this is my opinion. Comment if you agree, disagree, or have some thing to add or say to debate. Just be polite and don't judge.

Yeah I forgot about that. That goes beyond what I was talking about.
