He's not depressed or anything...He's actually really jumpy which is why I have to leave him in the crate... cool

I've had that problem too, especially with a non-stop border collie I had spayed, took an extra couple weeks before the stitches could be removed because too much activity and jumping made the 'area' all red. Lots of Neosporin helps if that happens!
