Hello Fellow Anime Lovers! heart
I want to determine if another art contest will be popular enough to sustain a proper competition.
The art contest's theme will be randomly chosen from a hat from the suggestions put in by guild members, so you'll have wait and find out!
Sooo... this topic thread is mainly for the poll (so vote please!) but other than that, is there any other types of contests that the guild will be interested in? Please post your suggestions/ideas that hopefully relate to anime. lol wink
Examples:
Anime Poetry Contest/ Haiku Contest
Fanfic Contest
THE ULTIMATE ANIME SCAVENGER HUNT CONTEST - where a list of anime related scenes/items are given and you must find videos on youtube from different animes that give that scene/item! LOL <-just made that up on the spot.
Special Note: I'll be the one providing the cash prizes this time. How can I afford it? It's the money I saved and its from the commissions that our guild master spent! Hehe~ what goes around comes around. rofl
The prizes will be like this:
First - 100k!!!
Second - 65k
Third - 35k
*gasp* A total of 200k~ exclaim

Well, you could send an announcement, no? That might work a little better than people just so happening upon the thread like I did.
*w* I would totally enter another Art contest!!
EDIT: Btw, two things!
1) anime_mimic: Loving the Dart Cosplay ;D LoD was the first RPG I actually beat.
2) I would also totally enter a fanfic contest!
And that is all there is to say.

well, since the art contests are not a regular event, I might come back on my words of not entering the next one >>
oh and for people who may think that, I never vote for myself, I think it's unfair. also, arts in this Guild are all pretty goods, it's already hard to pick one more than another to start with ^^;
(to Ice Wolf: thx, I always try my best in my cosplay :3 )

YAY people with opinions! lol It is posted as an Announcement but also a poll. So if I could put flashing neon lights beside the thread title, I WOULD! (it would be completely annoying but at the very least, it'll grab attention)

I would enter another art contest. 3nodding Also, the idea of a cosplay competition would be really cool. The theme would be a little tricky to narrow down though. xd That being said, we could have avatar cosplay contests as well. Like: Who can make the most accurate "insert character name" with tektek? Hmmmmmmm.... what else. fanfiction is a good idea but it'd take a long time to read everyone's entries if it's novel length. sweatdrop I can't really think of anything else at the moment, but I'll keep thinking and relay the ideas. 3nodding

cosplay contest is nice but costy, I have like...no money, always...and it's usually cause I buy stuff for cosplays XD. also, instead of a character, it would be better to put the name of an anime. if the character chosen is a girl, only girl can really hope to participate, but if it's an anime's theme, you can pick a character in the anime......and be logic XD anime like K-ON would not let much guys in

Good point. I mainly meant using people's creativity for tektek to make a specific character, then it wouldn't matter what gender you are, you can still do it. As for real life cosplaying, that is what we would probably need a theme or anime for. (Side note: I wish more people come to this forum. crying )
