Thought to some people Midori can seem somewhat gothic for wearing almost all black she chooses to wear that colour more for practical reasons then as a fashion statement because they allow her to more easily blend in with the shadows and the night.
Over all look: Short but homely, her most noticeable feature is her gorgeous striking smile.

Basic Personality: Taking after her parents, Midori is an extremely strong willed individual with a heart of gold and a determination of steel on the inside but she also is a little bit shy and can have a hard time speaking about her inner feelings even to her friends.
Thought she puts on a bit of a rough exterior to try to seem tough and unwavering the truth is that it is just so that she can hide her own discomfort or fear. Despite this facade, she almost always seems to carry an air of nobility about her that seems to help draw out the capabilities of others along with her winning smile and sincere words.

Pre ninja
As a holdover of the pagan rituals which where instrumental in the creation of their clan the sky riders founders swore to turn any over their children born with red eyes (the colour of blood) over to the service of the god of death. Most members of the clan are born with blue eyes (the colour of the sky) and thus become scouts specializing in recon missions.
Midori however was one of the few exceptions being the first member of the clan to be born with red eyes in over a century Sensing an opportunity to better the clan and keeping with tradition her father Ramunas went to the first Gaikukage Ebizz and swore to raise his daughter to become a shinigami for the village, able to carry out the black listed missions that where a necessity for any ninja community.
Because she was raised as a small child to become an assassin, Midori thinks it is perfectly acceptable to kill people as long as they are either criminals or morally corrupt. In fact she was told it was almost a sin for someone not to kill them if they had the power to accomplish it.
As a result of her training as she grew up Midori became infatuated with murder novels and movies in which people thought of all sorts of bizarre and unique ways to kill a victim. In her mind the more of these she watched, the more methods she could learn for completing her mission while also learning to avoid the mistakes the people featured in the stories made in order to avoid being caught herself.
Midori idolizes several legendary assassins from Kira – the arbiter of judgment to Haseo- the terror off death and as such as made it her life’s goals to join their ranks no matter how many bodies she has to pile up in the process.
Starting from a young age Midori was regularly injected with small amounts of various poisons in order to build up her immunity to them. For a time she was often sick and even on the verge of death but each recovery only forged her into a stronger tool then she had been before.
Fascinated with technology Midori began to learn how to use computers and began to toy with making her own weapons as was common in her clan such as modified trick boomerangs
Early Ninja life, A secret blood soaked past
Graduating the academy at a young age of 10 Midori became the apprentice of the second strongest ninja in the village, known only as Amazon Battle Vixen or Vix for short.
Under Vix's tutelage Midori grew fast advancing in nearly every aspect of her skill from ninjutsu, taijutsu and especially sealing. While only averagely strong at this point once she reached her true potential she would become an invaluable weapon, a precise sniper rifle compared to a bazooka that a jinjurikin represented.
At the tender age of 12 she entered the chunnin exam taking place in the village hidden in steel after being placed in a team who where short one member. On the surface this was just an exercise so she could be promoted but that was only her cover.

In truth Ebizz had given her a mission to kill as many of the other exam takers outside of her team as possible in order to both politically embarrass hidden steal as well as weaken rival villages, two birds for one stone.
Nobody could have ever guessed going in just how successfully Midori was going to be. During the second state of the exam in the a forest field against all odds she systematically slaughtered everyone though she lost her team mates in the process and came close to dying several times herself, only suriving and prevailing due to the awaking of her bloodline.
This incident became known as the Chunnin exam massacre and caused quite a bit of trouble. The Kuroganekage Deno wanted to kill Midori thinking she had been a jounin plant but forensic evidence proved otherwise and so he settled on failing her on a technicality in revenge. No team no promotion.
Word of Midori's involvement was suppressed in Towns and soon after an accident occurred that put Ebizz in a coma. Vix took over running the village in everything but name only.
Kinder then the the Gaikukage Vix allowed Midori to step out of the shadows of the black ops program she had been involved in up to that point and become a normal ninja in hopes she would learn to become a more normal person in turn rather then just a tool to be used for killing
In the public light - The Cell wars
Once again having a team to call her own Midori trained hard in order to not fail them like she had failed her team during the bloody exam. Together with Sycro and Ferret they where Dubbed the Aurum runners they became known for their versatility and teamwork.
Gaining a summoning contract that she found locked away in the attic of her family's mansion she became known as the Misters of dragon's when at the age of 14 she lead her team to victory during the first cell wars, an event where the all the ninja cells in the village where pitted against each other to determine which team was best.
Soon after another Chunnin exam was held and this time Midori passed with flying colors, officially becoming on of the villages top snipers and Vix's right hand woman and administrative assistant in the process.
Between her wealth as the heir to the Skyrider clan and her unpredicted access to villages archives Midori was free to conduct her research on levels she had never before imagined.
Word of the Aurum runners exploits spread and at this time it was said that she was as strong as any Jounin in combat, though for various reasons Midori remained a Chunnin for several years.
At 16 The Second Chunnin wars where held and again Midori lead the Aurum runners to victory increasing their fame. At this point she was handpicked for a show bought against the Legendary ninja Chaos Beaver and thought she ultimately lost her impressive showing spoke well of her abilities since few had ever lived to face the man and lived.
Research - Interlude
Shortly later Midori returned from a solo mission to find out that her team mates had been killed in her absence. Devastated at their lose and blaming herself she threw herself into her research, mostly in two main fields. Seals and robotics.
Becoming a rare level 6 seal master she infiltrated the base of a p.m.c. known as raging sell on a mission. Eliminating the mercenaries she stole the data they had on prototype maid robots years ahead of it's time and combined it with her own research and her knowledge of seals to create something new months later.

Sealing her ultimate attack the Shining nova into a crystal Midori had created a self perpetuating miniature power source, priceless in a world where energy was scarce.
Even during this time of contemplation and training she continued to preform missions dutifully killing many many people, both publicly and in the shadows.
By the age of 18 tales of Midori's exploits as an assassin had spread far across the land and she had become known in several bingo books as the Winged Angel of death.
With her apprentice May by her side she looked for new students to train and found potential in the form of Yuki, a fellow wind user. Taking him under her wing they where in the middle of a training session when they came under attack by an unknown foe.
Easily repelling the attack force Midori gathered the evidence they had gained and went to the kage tower to report only to find that Vix had gone missing in action.
With reports of attacks streaming in across the entire country the nervous console of elders decided it was high time they had official leadership and appointed Midori as the new Gaikukage as she was easily the strongest remaining ninja remaining in the village and already had familiarity with how it ran having worked under Vix for years.
Gaikukage - The war
Analyzing the clues they had from various attacks, Midori traced them to the PMC she had destroyed a couple of years ago. The attackers where robots too far advanced to be possible.
Sending a small strike force lead by Living Death into the base located at the rain forest they fought against the enemy and returned with Chaos who offered an alliance with Midori in return for a small fortune and...other resources.
With the help of Chaos and his men from Gaioh they repelled a second attack on the village lead by 3 of the 5 Elemental Generals. Further clues seemed to implicate Hidden steel as being behind the attacks.
Deciding to investigate personally Midori in order to learn the truth took a small team with her, resolved to Destroy Steel if it turned out the intelligence was true.
However her group arrived to find Steel under attack by the same robots. Helping to fend off the attack Midori went to negotiate with the Kurogane-kage only to find that someone who looked like Vix had lead the assault on Steel and he had though Towns to be behind them.
Realizing they where being set up against each other the two forces forged an alliance and where soon attacked once more. Reinforcements from Towns arrived to help them but the enemy attack was a faint in order to waste their energy. During this time Chaos betrayed Midori and then left to further his own ends.
It turned out that the the creator of the robots Dr Elric had met a counter part to Midori from another dimension and used her time space technique to pull resources from an alternate timeline more advanced then this one and it was this alternate Vix that had been leading the attack.
Declaring himself the Kage of Hidden Astroid, the robot Grand General Synth turned on Dr Elric and the negative versions of Ebizz, Vix and Midori betraying them all in a bid to capture this Midori so he could learn this secret of her Chakra crystals and make his army virtually unstoppable.
Surrounding the collation forces with an army of millions of robots they where hopeless out numbered. He tried to force them to surrender but they refused and he destroyed Hidden towns with a blast of his rail cannon, a prototype super weapon of terrifying power and scale.
Treating to destroy Hidden Cloud next Midori was forced to surrender herself in order to buy time on the condition that Synth let her people go. Her own life no longer mattered, she had to have them take her to their base and then destroy it if at all possible.
Loading Midori onto a transport plane Synth betrayed the terms of the agreement and had his mobs attack. They tried to render Midori helpless from Chakra nullification which would make her unable to use chakra and turn off her seals but she countered them with an incredibly rare and expensive electric magnetic pulse grenade.
With time running out, Midori realized she only had a short time until systems where restored. If they took away her chakra again she'd never be able to escape and destroy their base and the super weapon.
Just when it seemed all hope would be lost and the forces of Towns and Steel overwhelmed Midori unleashed her ultimate attack causing the ship she was in to crash-land destroying a significant portion of the enemy army
At the same time their counter parts from another world returned with reinforcements to pay Synth back for his betrayal. With over a dozen S and A class ninjas on their side it was only a ratter of time until the robot forces where vanquished.
Though Hidden Asteroid itself remains at large Midori insured that the robot production factory was destroyed and that the power beam generator for the super weapon was disabled rendering it inert
With peace secured the remaining forces of Steel,Towns and Gaioh found themselves with out a home to return to. Agreeing to join forces once more on a permanent bases the 40 year rift between them was finally healed.
Heading back to the ruins of Towns to see what could be salvaged Midori was surprised to find that the console of elders had managed to survive the devastation. Blaming Midori for failing her duty she abdicated from her position as Kage having no desire to lead a second village to destruction.
With her grandfather dead Midori found herself at the head of her clan. Using her vast wealth she helped survivors of the war to relocate to the Nameless village and settle in before building a small tower for herself preferring to live away from her other surviving clan members and their posh mansion.
No longer a kage but too powerful to revert back to a Jounin Midori was given the new rank of Dennin (short for Legendary ninja in Japanese) and settled in to serve her new home and continue her endless research
Goal: Acquiring legendary artifacts and more knowledge and to maintain the peace of Nameless village.

Midori is a 7th Level Seal Sage, virtually unmatched in the field and able to pull off complex sealing rituals with almost no preparation times.
Advanced Ninjutsu Master. Able to preform Fire, Wind and Light jutsu with out preforming handseals after years of intense practice. Rumors persist that she can use other elements as well but no proof of this has been recorded. All evidence of this has been either been attributed to her seals or her dragons
Due to her avian bloodline this ninja can sight targets with incredibly accuracy from extreme distances. A known Sniper with a record of favoring long range tactics avoid engaging at long distinctness if at all possible

My student Midori likes to make it look like she's weak at closer rangers then she really is. Given her hollow bones like all memebers of her clan her hand to hand taijutsu is only average at best for a ninja of her level but she is still extremely deadly at mid range due to her Scythe and Jouhyou. Anyone foolish enough to try and close in on her might find themselves in for quite a nasty surprise.
The Sky riders are known Weapons manufactures of the highest calibur. It was a Skyrider who made Metal Edge a weapon that can turn what ever it cuts into Steel. Midori continues that proud tradition by customizing her Boomerangs. You'll never know what you'll get from them as they have been seen to explode, spray liquids and all sorts of other tricks.
