If you haven't noticed, my avi has taken a rather drastic change. Well, I decided to make a cosplay just in time for the finale to Kamen Rider Double that's coming in two weeks. I also figured it was a good time to make an arena submission as well.

Update: I just finished what will be my submission for the week after's cosplay contest. Keeping in theme with Kamen Rider Double, I decided to cosplay as Phillip. It was significantly harder than cosplaying as Shotaro, seeing how I had to not only use cheaper items, but items that would seem quite off for me.

*Has a vague idea of what that show is about* gonk
I always thought it looked like a Power Rangers ripoff in the shape of tough and cool looking guys that are up to date compared to the old Rangers and that it was about the good guys trying to save the day by using suits and technology that you don't see everyday while there's a guy out there who turns out to be bad but he's truly just misunderstood and chooses to either work solo or pays for his past deeds until he finally learns to work as a team and defeat a major baddy.
Whew! That was a single sentence! Anywho, that was all based on a single episode I saw once when I was in Las Vegas. Mind you, since it was Las Vegas, I didn't pay a lot of attention.

Actually, the Kamen Rider series was created before the original Super Sentai footage used for Power Rangers. The two "Sentai" series, that were recently acknowledged as Super Sentai series, Goranger and JAKQ, were created after 1975, whereas Kamen Rider was created in 71. Also, there has been a bit of confusion with the rip-off theory due to similarities, which if one would look back far enough, both series were originally created by the late Shotaro Ishinomori, who also created Cyborg 009. I always preferred the Kamen Rider series, cause with the execption of Den-O, the series takes a slightly darker tone. It's actually a good watch, if you watch the subbed versions. Not many of the Showa-Era eps are subbed, however. (the original Kamen Rider series probably has eps 1-3 subbed on Youtube)
If I had to choose a favorite, It would have to be either Faiz or Hibiki(Pre-Ep 30). If anything, you can watch them in any order, although it would probably be easier watching the first 9 series before Decade, before watching Decade, so you can get a better concept of the series, as Decade shows... I guess you could call them cameos of the earlier Hesei-era riders, except with a completely different storyline, save for Amazon and Black/Black RX.
If you wanna go straight for one of the darker series, I'd probably have to go with Faiz. Lighter, I'd have to say Den-O. Double is somewhat between the two, getting somewhat darker and more dramatic as the series goes to a close.

But the Green Ranger was bad a**!!!! On another kind of random note, on my old account I once tried to make a Lynx Cosplay from Chrono Cross. It didn't turn out to well. Had nothing to use for the hat, not much to go for with the cape, and pretty much nothing to use for the jacket. It was teh fails.

The Green Ranger WAS awesome! gonk But it's already been done oh so many times after the Green Ranger's fall and rise back to the good side.
But back to topic, I didn't understand a word you just said, Kane buddy. I mean, I understood that it was created a long time ago and stuff. And as a matter of fact, I think I might have watched the original series from time to time. But once you started talking about liking Hibiki and Decade...and Faiz, you lost me completely because I thought we were talking about Kamen Rider. But then I did some research due to my confusion and I understood that those are the different show seasons or whatever, such as Dragon Ball Z or GT.
With that said, I respectfully will add that Kamen Rider doesn't really attract me now. I got over good guys trying to save the world while doing exaggerated arm motions and wearing thighs like 10 years ago. I'm glad I've found out the Power Rangers might have copied Kamen Rider, but that's about it.
And I will add: Good luck in the arena. You already got my 5 stars.

I was going to attempt to do a cosplay in their transformed state, but as you can see:
there isn't anything on Gaia to actually do such a transformation.

Yes, I can't wait till it finally gets subbed! But despite it taking place between some of the final eps, most subbers are probably going to wait till after the show's over.
