My friend Emily and I both work at Rogers Plus (which is like the biggest company in canada for movie rentals and cell phones/cable/internet etc.

So, we get free rentals, game rentals movie rentals. Blue ray or DVD (I <3 Blu-ray) which is like uber awesome. =)

So Emily and I have decided that we are going to watch every movie in the documentary section. As a start to watch as many movies as possible at work. (and because we are nerds and love to learn new things)
So sofar I have watched for this goal,
Anvil
Aliens of the Deep
Age of stupid(amazing<3)
and
Bio Dad(I would recommend watching this if you wanna learn about artificial insemination.

does anyone have any suggestions of good documentaries or good recommendations?

I don't know if you'll be able to find it or not, but my favorite documentary is called "The Great Happiness Space". It's about host clubs in Japan. It's pretty eye-opening and depressing.

I'll have to find the actual titles, but I've been watching documentaries from the Mayo Clinic to learn more about the medical problems I have. I'll see if my work has them when I go back in and write the titles down for you.

Just a fair warning though: these ones are more done for people who already have the medical issue, so they might be a bit confusing. But I'll do my best to find them; hopefully they're still on the shelf because they're a b***h to find through Polaris.

I bet, but still, it would be something interesting to try to learn about (what ever they may be). I just like to learn new things ;p. And thank you! I hope you remember the titles =D

I couldn't find the exact titles of the DVDs, but they're all from the Mayo Clinic:
-Arthritis
-Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
-Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
-Asthma
-Lactose Intolerance

If you're into economics, a good documentary series is called Biz Kid$. It's aimed at kids, but done well enough to where it's a good introduction for everyone.
