She picked up one of the books she paid for and began to read it. She didn't want to leave Celia all alone. Even if she was in the room over, Tsubaki felt as if she should be nearby in case anything happened.

After several hours, the pain lessened and then finally ceased completely. Celia took a deep breath and felt relief. She had managed to stay in human form the entire time. She stretched her stiff limbs and walked into the other room. "Thanks for staying," Celia said, sitting beside Tsubaki.
[[Preaching to the choir here. Before I got a new med to take, I had one of those breath tests and my numbers were low 80 something and 38. My lungs hate me xD (For reference, to anyone who doens't know, they should be 140ish and 100ish)]]

She closed the book and set it down.

"Worse than human headaches," she said with a shrug. At least it was worse than what she remembered human headaches being. "Do you want to grab something to eat?" Celia asked. The headache had taken a lot of control and focus and now she was fairly hungry.

She thought for a few seconds and finally realized that she was. "Um... sure," she said. "Anything you prefer to eat?"

"Freshly killed deer, how about you?" Celia said jokingly. She thought hard for a moment about where to go to eat. She pulled out a phone book from behind the register and brought it over to the table, looking for ideas.

She she didn't think she could ever kill a deer and eat it raw. She'd rather eat something less... well, cute. "I'll go for what ever you like..." she muttered still stuck on that thought. She followed Celia to the register and looked in the phone book, too.

Celia noticed the shudder. "Don't worry. I don't normally eat deer. I eat everything normal people do," she said before adding, "And it's usually cooked. Unless I'm in a real pinch."

Celia could tell that Tsubaki felt awkward. "Chinese food?" she asked changing the subject. She was still confused about how someone from a race who ate people would have a problem with someone eating deer. After all, hunters ate everything she did. "I know a place that delivers only to me," she said.

"Sure," she said. "Chinese sounds good." She looked back down. She wondered if she was strange or not. She rarely thought that she was, but at the moment she felt very strange.

"No, it wasn't a bad joke at all," she said. "I just can not think of that since I'm kind of weak when I think of that." She shifted her weight a bit. "Do you think I am strange?" she couldn't help but ask.
