There are two things that really grind my gears about PETA.

One of them is that they have the collective maturity of a 12-year-old.

The other is that they're racist, sexist, fat-phobic, and homophobic, and otherwise exploitative - while they're claiming that compassion toward animals somehow will trickle down to the rest of humanity. You can't claim to be for the equal rights of anything when you spend 99% of your time bolstering the kyriarchy you claim to oppose.

PETA is just....awful, their actions have been horrible since before I was even born e.e. I would be tempted to set some rapid animals loose in their headquarters if I wasn't so easygoing xp.

I love animals. I have my entire life, but I cannot honestly say that I like PETA in any way, shape, or form. They are terrible hypocrites. They end up killing most of the animals they "save" from shelters and what have ya. And they just make the most desperate attempts to get people to pay attention to their "cause".

For example, one of their campaigns was "Save the Sea Kittens!" to try to stop people from eating caviar. :T

Ugh. Way to pick your battles, PETA. If they really cared about animal welfare, they would dedicate much more time to stopping the factory farm industry, rather than doing stupid publicity stunts and making more reasonable vegans look stupid by association.
