Hiya! Rainy here, once known as the most questioning member of the Coven. ^-^ Well I'm back and I have a bunch of questions. As of current, most of them are about the moon, so I think i'll start with them, and anyone who can help me out would be much appreciated. I'm actually looking for an online tutor, but no luck on that one so far.
Well, my first question is about the occurance of a ring around the moon. Is it true that this is a sign of something bad thats going to happen? I'd explain why I ask, but that gets into a long story. But seriously, I've only heard it a few times, but after a recent event I'm really starting to wonder if it's true, so I was wondering if anybody has any real information on the theory.
Thankyou for any help possible, ~Rainy

Oh! And I was also wondering if anyone knows of -or can write for me- a really good guide to meditation. I'm really interested in starting up again because my life is so....*deep breath*...now, so I'm looking for a good beginners guide.

Rings, or halos about the moon are actually very common, but most people just never bother to look up and they are most visible during the full moon. It's caused by ice particles high in the atmosphere that are not dense enough to form clouds. High altitude ice particles that cause these halos are common. It's simply a meteorological event and doesn't signify anything bad is going to happen weatherwise.
However, as they are relatively common but go mostly unnoticed, ask yourself, why DID you notice? What mental state were you in to notice the rings? Do you often gaze at the moon, or do you only do so when things seem to be going bad already? In a sense, then, they could be indicating malfortune depending on how you answer those questions. Beyond that, I've never heard anything in the occult about moon rings indicating events.
To the second question, not sure I'm the best one to give a guide for that as I do not meditate frequently. I'll leave that one up to someone else and maybe chime in with some things that have worked for me in the past. whee
