So here's the deal. My New Year's resolution back in 2009 was to read all the Animorphs books. Lame, right? Figured it was better than making some sort of self-improvement resolution, since no one goes through with those.
Anywaaaaay... I finally found a website with all the ebooks available for download. Been really hooked on them lately, until I came up with the genius idea to do a crossover!
Gonna divide this thread up into sections, to keep track of everything. Because I'm too lazy to just buy a notebook or use my LJ or somewhere else where no one would understand my severe nerdiness. emo

The Yeerks have invaded Earth. But it's not the planet we're used to - it's a world full of Pokemon.
One night, a small alien ship crashlands in an isolated area. However, five teenagers happen to be passing through on their way home from the arcade. Five very different teens, who were bound together by fate.
An alien takeover has begun on Earth. However, the alien spaceship carries not the enemy, but a dying ally. A Deoxys, wounded in battle with the Yeerks.
He gives these five teenagers the ability to morph into whichever Pokemon they acquire the DNA of. However, with great power comes great responsibility. They alone are the only humans who know about the Yeerks - nevermind have a means of hopefully stopping them.
That night... these teenagers lives were changed. Forever. They can't let the Yeerks know they are human. They can't let them know their identity, whereabouts, or what they know about the invasion.
All they can do is fight.
You're probably asking, 'Why not fight alongside Pokemon?' Long story short, pokeball technology no longer exists. It was destroyed when a group of Pokemon activists (I'm looking at you, Plasma!) got their hands on it. The invading aliens eventually got their hands on all the remaining pokeballs and that, as they say, is that. Kind of a weak explanation, I know, but it's the only thing I could think of. Plus, the Orre region doesn't really have pokeballs either. So meh.

Currently using THIS to build my trainers, just for a rough idea. If this gets serious, I may just commission someone in art requests, because I do not have a creative bone in my body and this trainer thingy is actually quite limited. D:
I might also give other guildies a chance to give me their own character designs, and I'll use them in the story.
Each character will be based off of someone in the books. For example, I'm gonna have an agressive/impulsive/beautiful girl, like Rachel (she's one of my favorite characters - I can't NOT have her!), a solemn but strong leader, a tree-hugger, a dork who provides comic relief, an alien, and someone trapped in a morph.
Might have other characters, if I can find a spot to write them in.
Yeah, I know Talon and the Marco character (he has yet to have a different name) both have the same hair style. >.<
Stupid trainer maker is very limited that way. Unfortunately, both characters' hair suits them, so I doubt I'll change it.
