The official rulebook for the guild. Please follow them for they will be enforced.

The Three Strikes Law

First Ogoun: You will be given a warning, meaning that the illegal action you are performing must stop.

Second Ogoun: If the action does not stop and you have already received the first strike your RPC will magically die and you will lose your bloodline/clan/demon.

Third Ogoun: You will be BANNED you from the guild

The Gaia Rules & Guidelines:

We all obey these, these are the ground rules that Gaia it self have laid out. If you have not see them, I suggest you look at them…

5 Steps to walk the Destiny of the Ninja

Step 1 Read the Rules of the Guild: Reading the rules of the guild and familiarizing yourself with how the guild works will help prevent any future conflicts and better the rp experience

Step 2 Picking your elements and village: This key to your progression as a shinobi. Be smart about picking both and have it make sense. Picking your first element to be water and joining the Sand Village is not a smart idea. Look at the village thread in the starter forum and look at which villages are closed and which ones are open.

Step 3 Applying for a Clan or Bloodline: Read up on the bloodlines and clans to see if you would like to have one. Once again be smart about your decision.

Step 4 Making your profile: Once you've been accepted into a clan or bloodline create your profile. Pick your image, name, techniques, village and most of all make an awesome background. Give your rpc a story to follow, it helps get into the character more. Your profile will not be accepted if there's an empty spot in it.

Step 5 Start walking in your Destiny: Once your profile has been accepted, post it in the village that you have chosen and begin rping ^_^

General Rules

1. No Advertising of other guilds unless spoken with the Guild Captain

2. Disscusing and having debates is great, but we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. The Crew and VC decision is final in these matters.

3. Killing peoples characters IS allowed, however if your opponent has no intention of killing you, then you CANNOT kill them. In other words your opponent must have killing intent for you to be allowed to kill them. For example:

Kai and Zane get in a fight, both of them trying to kill the other, and Kai beats Zane into a bloody mess rendering him helpless. Because Zane was trying to kill Kai, Kai is fully within his right to slit the traitors throat right then and there.

But!

If Kai and Zane get in a fight and Zane is so afraid of Kai that he does nothing but try to escape, Kai cannot kill him. He can still beat him into a bloody mess, and he can then do whatever he chooses to Zane, except kill him. So Kai could cut off both of Zane's hands, rendering him incapable of performing jutsus, or if Zane had a doujutsu Kai could steal them for himself, rendering Zane blind. So if you lose feel free to keep your character, but keep in mind that if you lose you might not have a character worth playing anymore.

4. Please wait a reasonable amount of time before complaining about nobody replying, in some cases not all the members will be online to respond instantly so please be patient. Now, if you're in the middle of a battle and the other person does not post for more than 3 days without reason then you have the right to just walk away, no auto killing though. If the person does not post for 9 days without reason and are fighting to the death, you have the right to auto kill.

5. Which brings me to the next rule, HIATUS LOG...USE IT! If you are going to be gone for more than 3 days, then post so that we know that you're going to be gone and no one will have to wait for you.

6. If your rpc is killed...get over it! Your dead. Rather than seeing it as an ending think of it as a new beggining, a way to experiment with a different village, clan, bloodline, elements and make your rpc stronger than the last.

6. Keep it PG-13. Hugging and kissing is allowed, but no cyber-sex

8. No disscussion of Illegal activities

9. Crew reserves the right to remove offensive posts, meaning try and keep cursing to a minimum.

NO DOUCHEBAGGERY!

This is vague I know...but basically don't be a douchebag, or we will call you out on it!

Summons:

1. Each person is allowed up to 1 Summon unless a bloodline has uses more than 1 Summon

2. Once obtaining a Summon you may not change

3. Obtaining Summons is done by being taught by the Original Summoner in the Summon Land, or going though the trials of the summoning land. To do so, you must ask your kage for permission to travel to the lands of the summoning. NOTE: YOUR RPC RUNS THE RISK OF DYING DURING THIS TRIAL SO THREAD CAREFULLY!

4. You may obtain a summon at Chunin Minimum, Unless you have a Demon then you may obtain one at Genin. Also note that if you're Shinobi Type is Summoning then you can obtain summons at genin

Summoning Lands

1. Somewhere in the guild threads lies a gateway to the summoning lands. You can't just show up at the summoning lands you must first post getting there by crossing the specified field, forest, mountain etc.

2. Once you go through that specified area, you must then go to the summoning land thread and post there ^_^

Villages:

1. If you abandon your village or leave in order to go another one, you become a missing or rogue ninja and will be hunted. The Kage of said village has the right to flat out cut your head off.

2. Killing a member of your village will count as treason and you will be immediately hunted and given missing ninja status. Killing a member who is threatening the safety of your village or someone else's will be an exception. Basically self-defense, unless you were the one that had ill intent.

3. If you do not have a village or a member of an organization, you can not rank up. Cause Missing nins don't really follow the ranking system. Though you can still train and become powerful, but if you left as a genin for some reason you would still be classified as one.

4. All members must take tests to rank up. There are some exceptions, but those will be reported by the crew and tested/examined appropriately. If you failed a test, you must wait three weeks before asking to retake it.

5. Upon joining the organizations such as Akatsuki you are not automatically ranked up to S-rank, you must earn that rank.

Entering a Village

When entering a village one has either two options: Entering normally or sneaking in. HOWEVER both methods require letting whoever is RPing as the guard to respond to your post. You can't just sneak out because the NPC guard is not online at the moment. So sorry, if you're waiting until 5 o'clock in the morning when no one is on to sneak out then you will have to wait anyway.

If you choose to enter normally, you must speak to the guards and they will ask you to fill out a form:

-Name:
-Rank:
-Village
-Reason for Visiting:
-Equipment: (Including custom weapons and their explanation)

Once given this form, the guards will let you in, unless you say I'm here to take over.

Option 2: Sneak in the village.

In order to sneak in the village you must come up with an elaborate way of sneaking in. If I see:

-John snuck past the guards

I will delete it and send you back to your mothers womb. What I want to see is this:

-As Saito stepped up to the gates, he watched the chuunin guardsmen carefully. He noticed that each one had a sword strapped to their back. With a devilish grin on his face, Saito unsheathed his own sword, the point of the blade aimed at one of the guards. Using his chakra, Saito proppeled himself forward, stabbing one in the heart. As the other guard went in for a downawards assulat, Saito merely parried the blade and twirled his body, appearing behind the guard. Saito skillfully twirled his blade in his hand slashing the back of the guard as he fell to the ground. Spitting on the bodies, Saito went through the gates and headed towards the village.

You're shinobis darn it, do something with style.

Countries

1. Before even posting at a village, you must first post entering the country. In reality, it takes several days for one to be able to travel between villages. So the way it works is that the first post is leaving your village, then the second post is leaving your country, then the third post is entering another country, then the last post is entering the other village. Not only will it seem more intune with the anime, it'll also promote rping in the countries rather than the villages themselves.

Ex:

Leaf Village gates > [Land Area] Fire Country > [Land Area] Water Country > Mist Village Gates

2. All attacks and Invasions begin in the country first, then if you choose to, it will move unto the village.

Akatsuki and Demons:

1. No Demon shall be given to anyone chuunin or above.

2. No Host can have a bloodline or clan. The fact that you have a demon not only gives you a higher chakra than everyone else, it gives you special abilites as well...use them. Transplants are the only exception to this rule since you have to kill someone

3. Demon hosts must be taken alive

4. If the Host dies, the demon dies with it and returned to the Crew

5. Removing the demon DOES kill the host. Sorry but if you're stupid enough to get caught then you have to suffer the consequences and having the host stay alive makes no sense at all.

6. It takes 3 in real life days to fully extract a demon. Regardless of number of members.

7. In order to seal a demon into another host, they must find an S ranked sealing master

8. Being in Akatsuki does not grant you S ranked status. You must earn that S by training hard. You are also not allowed to join Akatsuki unless you are at least jounin rank and you can not have received any auto-ranks for the character.

Bloodlines/Clans/Implants

1. Clans and Bloodlines must be purchased in order to be able to rp with it. Please send a trade to the Guild Captain. This money is not for personal gain, it will be used to put into the guild. Until I see your trade I will not put you on the list, and if you're not on the list then you can't use the bloodline or clan

2. Each person is allowed 1 clan OR 1 bloodline. [Can not have a clan and a bloodline.]

3. Obtaining an additional or Implant Bloodline must be taken from another person. Which they can give up willingly, or you can take by force.

4. Any additional bloodlines must be implanted by a Jonin or above Medical Ninja

5. All implants are to be approved by the Guild Captain

6. Implant Bloodlines are not as strong as Natural Bloodlines, and drain more chakra. Meaning that if you activate your transplanted sharingan, you waste double the chakra when using it.

7. The only transplants acceptable is one that involves the eyes, or doujutsu. Ex. the sharingan, byakugan.

RP rules

1. Follow the rules of your village

2. Godmodding, Metagaming, Autohits, and Auto learning will not be tolerated, so don't do it.

3. You can not beat someone 2 ranks higher then you alone

4. All fights outside RP must be taken to Private Message or the Complaint Forum. Remember, don't spam each others inboxes as that is rude. If the need arises, someone will be banned.

5. No portals

6. Pets are limited to pet-oriented clans. They are only allowed to perform taijutsu. They feed off the owner's jutsu. They are part of the owner's turn. They are subject to genjutsu, as well as their owner's genjutsu except for insects

7. Rank bonuses do not stack. Please keep this in mind when creating your character and RPing them.

8. When entering an area post where your character is coming from. When exiting an area, state where your character is going. Ex:

From Kazekage tower

Zane arrived at the market as he looked around, not able to find Sine anywhere. He sighed as he decided to go search the hospital instead. With her being a medical shinobi she could be there...

Exit to Suna Hospital

RPC Rules

1. Everyone starts out in the Academy. To graduate to genin each Academy has certain requirements for you to fill out. Once you fill out the requirements, speak with the kage of your village to take the Academy Test.

2. When you create your profile, you start out with ONE element. So think carefully. Please follow our profile guidelines

3. Chuunins can:
-leave the village
-Learn summoning
-learn a second element
-you can teach yourself jutsus as long as you attain the scrolls

4. Jounins can learn a third element but can only learn up to jounin of the third one and can't master it.

Medical and Sealing Jutsu:

1. Anyone can learn medical jutsus, but you can only learn up to chuunin rank medical jutsus.

2. If your shinobi type is Chakra Control, you can master up to Jounin medical jutsus. If your shinobi type is Medic, then you can master all medical jutsus.

3. Medical jutsus count as an element, meaning if you are a medical shinobi, your first element will be Medical. Your second element you gain at chuunin, and then the third at jounin.

4. Sealing jutsus count as an element meaning if you're a sealer you start out with sealer as your element.

7. In order to learn sealing jutsu you MUST be taught by someone, no self teaching.

8. Only the Sealing Shinobi Type can learn sealing jutsus.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 15, 2010 1:12 pm

Transplant Rules:

1. You cannot get implants from those who have had the bloodline implanted.

2. If you get an implant that is beyond the basic level, for example mangekyo sharingan, it reverts back to the base sharingan and you have to start from the beginning. This means that all those implants like sharingan, or byakugan, you will always get a base implant.

4. Limit one implant per person. This is simply to ensure someone doesn't go around getting multiple implants and overly abusing the fact that they have multiple bloodlines.

5. You can't turn them off and on.

6. The eye can be covered and it would negate the effects of the implant. Meaning, the chakra drain is shut off, and you can't see with it.

Auto Ranking

1. To balance the power between villages, each Kage is allowed to have at least 1 saanin, 1 jounin, and 1 chuunin at a time. The 3 must be approved by the Guild Captain in order to auto rank.

2. If your saanin or jounin or chuunin dies and you have no more, a kage can do one of two things. A) promote the next person in line, ie: promote jounin to saanin, chuunin to jounin, genin to chuunin. The promotion must be approved by both the kage and the guild captain. B) Invite someone to become your saanin, chuunin, or jounin who is not a member yet.

Note: that if you at one point have two saanins and one dies, you can not auto rank someone to take the dead one's place.

Jutsus for Auto Ranks

Just because you are now a saanin doesn't mean you know everything about everything. These are the rules for an auto ranked character.

Kages:

A) You are allowed to be a master of only 1 Taijutsu or Weapon style of your village. If your specialty is taijutsu, then you can be a master of all the village taijutsu styles and one weapon style. If you are a weapon specialist, then you can master all weapon styles and one taijutsu style in your village.

B) You can be a master of 1 element and 1 element only. If you specialize in ninjutsu then you can be a master of 2 elements, if you specialize in genjutsu then you can be a master of 2 elemental genjutsu.

C) In addition to being a master of 1 element, you can add a total of 30 jutsus that are not your mastered element. Taijutsu styles don't count.

D) Your max level will be /200 on all stats.

Saanins:

A) You are allowed to be master of only 1 Taijutsu or Weapon style of your village.

C) In addition to being a master of 1 element, you can add a total of 25 jutsus that are not your mastered element. Taijutsu styles don't count.

D) Your max level will be /200 on all stats.

Jounins:

A) You are allowed to know up to the final JOUNIN stage of 1 Village Taijutsu style or Weapon style. If your specialty is Taijutsu then you are allowed to know the jounin stages of all the taijutsu styles of your village. If you are a weapon specialist, then you can know the jounin stages of all weapon styles and one taijutsu style in your village.

B) You can know up to jounin of one element. If you specialize in ninjutsu then you can have up to jounin in 2 elements, if you specialize in genjutsu then you can have up to jounin in 2 elemental genjutsu.

C) In addition to that you can add a total of 20 jutsus that are not of your mastered element.

D) Your max level will be /150 on all stats.

Chuunins:

A) You are allowed to know up to chuunin of 1 village taijutsu style or weapon style. If your specialty is taijutsu then you are allowed to know up to chuunin of all the taijutsu styles and one weapon style of your village. If you are a weapon specialist, then you can know the chuunin stages of all weapon styles and one taijutsu style in your village.

B) You can know up to chuunin of one element. If you specialize in ninjutsu then you can have up to chunin in 2 elements, if you specialize in genjutsu then you can have up to chunin in 2 elemental genjutsu.

C) In addition to that you can add a total of 10 jutsus that are not of your mastered element.

D) Your max level will be /125 on all stats.

Note: You can not add jutsus that are above your rank ie if you're a jounin you can't add kage jutsus.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 15, 2010 1:15 pm

Learning Jutsus

When learning a new jutsu one must have a certain number of posts in order to learn that jutsu. The number of posts needed is based off of the level of the jutsu in question (see below). A training post must be at least one good paragraph of at least 4 sentences in length. If the posts are not of good enough quality then your teacher or a crew member has the right to tell you to either re-write said post(s), or simply have you write more posts.

Academy: 3 posts
Genin: 5 posts
Chuunin: 8 Posts
Jounin: 12 posts
Kage: 15 posts

A special note, unless your character is of at least chuunin rank, you cannot learn jutsus on your own. There are a few exceptions to this rule which are as follows:

1. You are trying to learn clan/bloodline techniques, but you are the only member of your clan/bloodline, meaning that no actual player could teach you, in this case you may have an NPC, played by a crew member , teach you the techniques.

2. If you are trying to learn elemental jutsus, but no one in your village can use your element, then you may learn from an NPC, played by a crew member, to learn the techniques. (Note there must literally be absolutely no one in your village that can teach you the technique for you to learn it from an NPC)

3. If you are trying to learn a custom technique or taijutsu/weapon style of your own creation, then obviously there would be no one else to teach you and so you can learn it from an NPC, played by a crew member, or a scroll. (note: if you are learning it from a scroll you must get special permission from a VC or the guild captain explaining why you want to learn from a scroll)

A special note, once there is an NPC for a village that teaches a certain style/ specific elements jutsus/ clan techniques, then that same NPC must be played by the same crew member everytime, and must remain in that village. (if you have a reason why there should be an exception to the NPC teaching you please PM a VC or the guild captain with your reason why to get permission)

Jutsu Learning Limits

Areas of Technique Training

*The idea is simple. Not all areas cater to training needs, whilst others do far better then others. This will either increase or lessen the posts necessary for learning and teaching techniques.

When outside a village: The area is unfamiliar, the terrain lush, rough, and far from kept. Training is rather difficult. It is now necessary for +1 post for learning and +1 post for teaching.

Within the home village or other village: The area is familiar, but provides nothing unique. When within a home village or a regular village, there are no changes to the normal RPC's teaching and learning.

When in a training ground, or a training-specific location in any village: Here it is ideal to train. With a perfect area, and a wide-open space, ninja are able to easily train. Due to the unique area, it is now allowing for -1 for learning and -1 for teaching. (learning refers to learning on your own, teaching refers to when being taught by someone of at least chuunin rank, these two learning bonuses are the only learning bonuses that can stack)

When in a training ground at a home village: The area is very familiar. It is easy to traverse, and is very appealing to the needs of the ninja. It is advantageous in many ways, making training far easier. This allows for -2 learning and -1 teaching.

The learning bonuses cannot stack with learning bonuses from shinobi type, the greater of the two bonuses stack. For example the chakra control shinobi type gets a -2 post learning bonus, when training in a training ground in their home village with no teacher they still only receive a -2 post learning bonus, but if they have a teacher they get a -3 post learning bonus because the stacked bonus of being in the training grounds and have a teacher is greater than the bonus just from chakra control.

Note: This does not apply to the Academies.
