I was on The Michigan gun owner's website and found an essay written by an 8th grader that believed gun safety should be thought in schools. The kid was from Alaska, I'll try to link the essay later. I think its a great idea, even if your family is completely against guns and that's the kind of up bringing you had you still have a chance to learn about gun safety. A lot of people seem to act like the gun will jump out of the holster and start killing everyone around them. Other people treat them like toys, just look at all the stupid s**t on youtube. I think gun safety classes are a good idea hopefully it would provide a unbiased source of information, and prevent future foot injuries.

I love this idea. I really do. There should also be gun education t.v programs for adults. And teach people the difference between a magazine and a clip scream

i would be all for that, with all the anti gun people today, it would be good to show kids that a gun wont"jump out'a the holster and start killin' every one"

I wouldn't go to far to say that we should teach about guns but safety instructions and handling of a firearm so that accidents and misconceptions don't cost lives and this really is the job of parents but now days parents aren't what there supposed to be
