Matt grimaced and clutched the desk as he pulled a small pouch from his jacket pocket. He bit into it and emptied it within seconds. "Who made that kid boss?" he thought and glared at Kyle. "Oh, whatever. At least he seems interesting..."

"Excellent suggestion Kyle, class dismissed. For those of you unaware, everyone at the Academy gets a free food plan and those of you who want to live campus the dorms are coed, the rooms are of course same sex. There is a common room in the dorm and the library is open until 10pm."

"Right, off we go!" Kyle said, and tossed open the door with a flourish. But instead of leaving, he stood beside the door and bowed. "But of course, ladies first." he said with a grin.

Matt exhaled deeply and 'FWOOSHED' up to the ceiling. He materialized just outside the door and walked across the hallway to the water-fountain to wait for Lucia and Lucrezia.

Lucrezia stood up and strode out of the room. Lucia could catch up. She walked quickly towards the water fountain and poked Matt in the chest. "Where do I know you from?" she asked. The vampire looked hungry, but whatever, losing some blood made no difference to her, and after a short while, vampires were disgusted by her hemoglobin. She was born with an unknown disorder that made her blood almost literally cold.It was uncomfortable on cold winter nights, but what can you do.
Lucia smiled at Kyle. He was nice, friendly and out going. He seemed like a good guy. "Thank you" she said "for holding the door." She stepped out demurely and walked to Lucrezia. "Hi Matt!" she beamed "Remember me?" She straightened her hair, skirt, collar and stockings, in that order and with attention to detail. Then she looked up and smiled.

Kyle nodded to Lucia, and let the other girls file out before he shut the dorr behind him. Lucrezia seemed to be interogating Matt, with Lucia bouncing around him. "They must not be aware how visious vampires are with out blood...." he thought to himself. He strode over and started steering the twins towards the cafiteria. "How about we give Matt some space. I think he might be more sociable after some food." he suggested.

Matt sighed and began gliding swiftly down the hallway. When he passed the twins and Kyle, he gave him a 'thank you' look. He tried to remember where he had met those two before, but came up with nothing. He stood impatiently in the food line.

Kyle smiled back at him, then led Lucia over to a table. "Lucia, dear, would you be so kind as to reserve a table for us?" he asked sweetly. "Pick whichever one you want." he added, and gently ushered her to the eating area.

Lucia blushed violently. Kyle was too nice a guy.She pointed to a table by the window and murmured, "Is that one okay?"
Lucrezia broke off away from Kyle and her idiot little sister and got in the foodline behind Matt. "So, I'm going to keep bothering you. I don't care if you're hungry or whatever, it doesn't bother me. But I will keep following you until you tell me where I know you from."

Kyle nodded approvingly. "Looks alright to me!" he said, and whisked into line behind Lucrezia. The food here was pretty good, for cafeteria food. He took a whiff and detected the cook's favorite, barbeque chicken, cheese lasagna and grilled asparagus. For the humans at least. While he waited in line, he whipped out his fob watch and flipped open the lid to inspect for any problem that needed to be fixed. His almond-shaped eye picked out a few parts that were grinding, and he put them on his mental ist of things to do. He sighed, grabbed a tray, and waited patiently to get his food.

Matt smirked, but stayed quiet. As he went through the line, he managed to get the chef to hand over some raw beef and chicken blood. Ignoring the disgusted looks from students, he glided over to the table and sat out of the light.
