Avon walked into his dorm and closed the door behind him. He sighed some as he walked over to his bed and sat down. With nothing to do all he was going to do was just rest and so he did.

Avon sighed some in his sleep and soon enough had awoken. He leaned up and rubbed his eyes. He looked from his side and leaned over and grabbed the remote and turned the t.v on. He relaxed and watched the television show that was on.

 Dyani walked up to a door showing a sign that said 'requesting roomate'. She looked at Alya, her owl, she looked happy enough. Dyani raised her fist and knocked on the wood, then waited for an answer.

Avon heard a knock on his door and earlier from now he had been asleep. He got up and went over to the door and opened it to see a girl standing there. "Yes?" he waited patiently for an answer.

Dyani looked at the boy and took in his beautiful wings, then snapped back to reality.
"I'm Dyani Smith, I was just wondering if I could stay here, too, if it's alright with you."
Alya hoo-ed in her ear.
"Oh! And this is Alya, my owl, she's very well trained."
Dyani smiled at the boy.

Avon looked at the owl then back at her again. "Yeah sure go ahead just set your things near the couch." He stepped in his room more and then out of her way so that she can enter. He crossed his eyes and his wings now stretched out a bit.

Dyani smiled at him again and walked in. She set her bag down and watched him flex out his wings.
Alya flew down onto the couch and settled down.
"You must be an angel or something, right?
I'm a witch."

"I'm a dark angel to be correct." Avon replied as he closed the door. He walked over to her and sat down beside her. "Well my name is Avon Pron." He folded his wings back and leaned back on the couch.

Dyani smiled, again, at him,
"Well, it's nice to meet you Avon Pron!
But, I'm afraid I have no idea what the difference between an angel and a dark angel is."
She said with a questioning face.

Avon smiled back at her and then he continued speaking to her. "Well a Dark angel controls shadow powers whilst a normal angel controls light." He hoped she would know what he meant now and so that he wouldn't have to keep explaining the difference to her.

"Oh, I thought it might be something like that."
Dyani zoned out for a minute then wondered.
"So I bet you were born like this, right? My friends taught me magic."

"Yeah pretty much." Avon leaned back against the couch and continued looking at her. "So tell me about yourself."

Dyani felt a little stunned he wanted to know more about her.
"Well, I'm a Native American, and so I always lived on a reserve.
I still had friends off the reserve and they eventually told me they were witches, so I convinced them to teach me.
A couple years after I found Alya tangled up and I helped her, now she is my one and only familiar.
But just a couple months ago everyone on the reserve found out was a witch, they thought me as a threat.
My parents wanted to stay on the reserve because I have siblings.
But then I heard of this place. And so I came."
Dyani got lost in her thoughts again, like she did a lot.
Then she came to, "So, what about you?."
