R'ael flinched as the sky rumbles with thunder, and Jaiereth does likewide, facinated but awed, though the dragon growls as his rider can't when G'dor vomits out yet another entirely unfounded complaint.
"You know...everyone outside the family thought you were all cute and innocent. What the hell happened?" He snarls as he stands up, gripping his half finished braid. "You're acting like the twins. Actually no...don't even answer that. Just...stay away from me before I actually give that a proper answer." he says, shaking his clenched fist meaningfuly. "You sharding bleached out little parasite!"

G'dor baked up away from R'ael, his eyes widening quickly at the unspoken threat of the young man's fist. "R'ael, I was only...", he whimpered, tripping over himself only to land on his rump in the damp grass.

Shells what a temper... he'd never seen R'ael so angry with him. Of course now that he had time to think over what he'd said he wished he hadn't said anything at all... it was playful but cruel at the same time. R'ael was really the only one he felt comfortable around in the wyer, his teasing was the only way he really knew how to express that without looking too clingy.

The boy pulled his eyes away from those of R'ael, lowering them to the ground.

R'ael stands there, fuming, his broad shoulders trembling. it's been a long time since he's come this close to really loosing his head, and he's still struggling with it, but his brothers repeated teasing cut deeply into his already poor sense of self esteem. Like G'dor, he feels out of place and awkward, and being harassed by G'dor, however well intentioned, has been wearing on him like someone savagely rubbing salt into an open wound.
"Yeah I know..." he says, voice shaking slightly from tightly reigned emotions. "Thats the problem." He growls, fists shaking tightly as he squeezes them more tightly shut. "Talk to me when you're "ONLY" over whater the shards and shells l is wrong with you. Ok?" He says, forcing himself to turn his back on his milk brother and start heading back to the Weyr as instructed. He has to keep his thoughts on something else...anything else...he just has to.

Are you alright Mine? You hurt....I don't like it... Jaiereth notes, moving to catch up to his rider.

I'll be alright. I'll be fine in a while.... He promises, though uncertainly. I'll be just fine.

G'dor watched R'ael go, pulling himself to his feet, "I'm sorry...." His voice chocked a bit. Queth watched him, humming with concern. "I'm fine... just fine." He dusted his rump off, trying to re-gain the dignity that he'd dropped when he had. "We... gotta get you inside."

He turned from the group quickly, wiping something from his eyes. Shells and shards that hurt... parasite? R'ael had never called him that. The twins only used it when they wanted to be most hurtful to him, and nearly every time it sent him running to his room in tears.

You are not fine..., Queth nuzzled his head back under G'dor's arm, only to have his rider jerk away from him, What... does he mean by that?

"Don't repeat it." He said sharply, pocketing his knot, "And just forget it.

L'mur winced as a bolt of lightning lit up the sky. "Oh good, we get to go inside," he muttered.

"Come on, Saranth, it seems your part of the lesson is over, at least." The youth raised a brow at the harsh words between two of his classmates, but chose not to butt in. It wasn't his business. L'mur and his green companion made their way back to the Weyr as instructed. Saranth trotted along next to her weyrmate, still not particularly bothered by the storm that threatened them.

Remia had initially stood up with the rest of the class when they got their new instructions, but before she could go anywhere, the two boys on either side of her began fighting.

They seemed to forget her entirely as they clashed, and her mouth dropped open slightly as she looked between them, quite startled at the sudden change of mood.

Flirting? But... I was just helping... she thought, still stunned as the two of them separated and headed back to the Weyr proper, very carefully not looking at each other.

What just happened? she thought, not knowing their inner thoughts, nor past events that had led up to this confrontation. She was getting a little damp now, from the spotty rain that had started to fall from the sky. And that was what made her shake herself and bring her attention back to her surroundings.

Must we go in, Mine? I want to stay and get washed by the rain. And Datiath is warm and comfortable to lay next to.

Remia turned to her dragon, and gave her an apologetic smile, seeing the dragonet sitting up. I'm sorry, dear one, but we must. The Weyrlingmaster said to. I'm sure you can lay near each other in the weyr, too.

Well... alright, then. Datiath, do you think we could? It won't be the same, but it will be warm.

She nudged Datiath with her head gently, and then padded in Remia's direction.

Mine? Why did the riders of Queth and Jariereth shout at each other? Trith asked, sounding mystified.

"I... I don't know... perhaps I will try to... well, it's not my place, but if they're brothers, they shouldn't fight like that. That wasn't regular sibling squabbling."

Remia shook her head, and led the little green inside to the barracks as the rain started to fall a little harder, making little round circles on the rock where it landed.

R'ael glances over his shoulder guiltily, but not at his brother, but Remia, though his guilt is toward both, debating if he should wait for her to catch up or not, but not sure if she even wants to talk to him after this....

Datiath pulled himself up off the ground and gave himself a shake. The drops were starting to fall a little faster as he began to trodle after his clutchmates. We must listen to the older ones. Though rain is very good. I shall lie with you.

N'tren watched as the two he knew to be brothers argued very loudly between themselves. And then he saw the look on Remia's face. On of confusion and worry. Shrugging more to himself than anyone else, he followed the crowd to the barricks. "I never fought so harshly with my siblings, not that there was much time to fight."

When can I meet your clutchmates, rider of mine?

"When we are okayed to fly, love. We don't want to hurt you, do we?"

Trith made a rueful noise at Remia's explanation. If it wasn't right, then they should make it better. She didn't worry long, however, as Datiath agreed to lay by her.

Will your class finish by us, too, mine? Trith asked Remia.

"I'm not sure, love. Perhaps it will, but it could get a bit crowded in the barracks." Remia was wondering that a bit herself. But she was far more preoccupied with the two brothers.

She nodded her agreement to N'tren, saying "I never fought so hard, either... but then again, I am the youngest by far, so I was never on equal footing with either my sister or my brother."

They were inside then, out of the rain, and Remia saw R'aels glance behind.

"Would you mind overmuch if I ran ahead to talk to R'ael, N'tren?" Remia asked. She didn't want to offend the bronze rider, but he wasn't the one who'd just gotten in a huge fight. Remia wanted to talk to G'dor, too, but he wasn't in sight at the moment.

Trith sighed, perfectly content to be waddling next to Datiath, and not wanting to hurry. My rider always seems to be in a hurry everywhere. she commented to the other dragonet.

"I was the middle child in my family. There were many arguments between us but..." He trailed off as Remia looked wistfully at R'ael. Giving her a little push towards their classmate, N'tren gave a smile.

"I don't mind. Don't forget we are all to meet back at the teachings rooms after our dragons are settled."

She is busy and you are not. I am glad. I could not keep up. My rider is always curious and stopping to learn. I want to learn with him. Now I want to sleep.

The bronze dragon settled himself down and waited for his clutchmate to settle with him. He had said much, much more than he was used to speaking. Huffing softly, he closed two of his three lids and waited for sleep to come.

Remia got Trith settled in, smiling as the green lay down next to her clutchmate, a deep sigh escaping her. She was tired as well. I learn much from following my rider, but you are right. Now it is time to nap. A murmur escaped her, and her eyes dimmed as the lids covered them.

Remia waited until Trith was comfortable, and then with a smile at N'tren, she jogged after R'ael.

"R'ael? Wait up for me?" she called, a question in her voice. She didn't want to intrude if he wanted his space, after all.

G'dor showed Queth back to the barrocs, staying long enough to see the dragonet settled and comfortably to sleep before leaving once more. He hadn't spoken a word to anyone or looked in their direction. One might be led to believe he was unaware that he wasn't the only wyerling there if they didn't know any better. He wanted to be alone, away from everyone even if it meant missing out on the assignment of chorse... it would mean he got the least desireable one again but the longer the chore the more of an excuse to be away from everyone he'd have.

The boy stepped out of the wyerling barrocs, sliding his fingers through his now slightly dampened hair as he walked. Parasite... He ground his teeth as the word gnawed deeper at him.

Queth rumbled from where he had dozed off, turning towards the enterence.

Skirt chaser... The memory of the words alone makes R'aels face burn as he turns back again at the sound of Remia's voice.
"Why don't you go on back to the baracks, Jaiereth, you can take it easy..." He says quietly to the dragon, scritching him gently along his ridge.
Jaiereth rumbles softly, nuzzling R'aels hand but obediantly moves off as instructed.
"I'm um....sorry about that...." R'ael mutters as Remia aproaches. "I wasn't...I mean...he's....I'm...."
