SO I decided to download YVD today but I can't for the life figure out how to use a few features.

How do I edit my Extra Deck?
How do I edit my "nickname" so I can get on the chat?
Can I duel an AI and if so, how?How do I connect to duel?
Any other pointers you may like to hand out?

I'd really appreciate the help, please?

Search for Synchros/Fusions, add them to deck. Done.
No idea, I don't bother with the connection stuff.
No.
Do you know how to edit the card sets?

I know how to update, but is there a way to separate them?

No, I mean, opening it in Notepad and editing the data for each card.

The yvd.set file, which you'll find in the folder that YVD itself is in, is what YVD keeps its card data on. This file can be opened up with Notepad (right-click it, and on the little menu that comes up, select "Open With...", then select Notepad).

When it's open in Notepad, you can edit the data of cards (either legitimate changes or your own bit of tomfoolery...for example, you can rename Elemental Hero Neos "CAPTAIN DORKFACE" if you like), as well as add new cards, such as cards from sets that are available in Japan but not in the US yet, or, if you're so inclined, cards you made up yourself.

Wow. Okay. Thank you.
