The RUM TUM TUGGER...
I have a MAC. Thus, my only two options are either Bootcamp, or the MACloids.
SO TELL ME GUILD, WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE MACLOIDS.

Only available in Japan, unless you import.
You can use them in Utau if you convert their sound files.
Using them in Garageband gives you limited editing options.
...
I feel like I missed something else important. o -o But this is all off the top of my head.

Bootcamp requires you to reboot the computer when you switch from mac to pc or pc to mac. But would allow you to use Utau or Vocaloid.
And Macloids cost a lot of money. But Garageband okay. Very easy to use and can be self taught. But it is kind of lacking in features.
But I love the Macloids. I downloaded like 50 of their songs. If I could buy one I would. I spent all my money on cosplays

Oh, I know there are some Utaus that work in Garageband, but it'd take some searching, because I don't know any that are still up for download.

I'm not really into UTAU, so I just want a base MACLOID. Which one would you prefer?
I would love to be able to find a patch for MEIKO to work on a MAC, but I doubt that exists.

Garageband Utau and Macloid are basically the same, though. Both are used in Garageband. One is free. :3
Hmm... as for voice preferences, I like Coco better.

Macloids are incredibly cheap compared to Vocaloids....I think I saw one price that was just 20 dollars. I've seen prices for Luka soar up to 200 dollars.

Macloids are incredibly cheap compared to Vocaloids....I think I saw one price that was just 20 dollars. I've seen prices for Luka soar up to 200 dollars. Oh, really. Lowest I've seen is $60 plus like $30 for shipping. If it's like $20 it could end up being $40 - $50 with shipping. $200 for a Vocaloid.... X-X

For me at least it was worth it. Especially since I was importing from Japan and they STILL arrived at my house in three days. I am impressed, import company. Deeply impressed. Also I just love my Vocaloids dearly so $200 was like, "Hell yeah I'm paying that!" Well, $200 included shipping, but I only have Kaito and Rin and Len, so I dunno about Luka. My high school band director used Bootcamp because he owned Macs but the school's grading system could only be done on Windows. It seemed to work out well for him. It might not have been Bootcamp, though; he didn't need to restart to switch back and forth. The Windows desktop had it's own little window that he could minimize when he wasn't using it.

If you were going to get one of the MacNE family, I would recommend; MacNE Coco (Dark)Or if you prefer a male voice; MacNE PapaBut looking at all these comments, they could help on getting a Vocaloid. But then again~ Vocaloid was going to be released to work on PS3's and phones, according to a rumour, so you could always wait until then, also. XD

I don't have a phone that would ever be compatible with VOCALOID, nor a PS3.
I need a VOCALOID that works with MAC, thus why I'm looking into the MACloids.
