Be careful. If you get the Sight you have to pretend like you don't have it, otherwise... Well, there's the whole having your eyes scratched out thing; it's why it's easier to go the "get them to like you" route. See, if they like you and trust you they won't do that!

I have so many decks that reflect faeries being humanistic. Like: But from what I've learned here, most fae don't look like that. Is there a type of fae that looks like the ones we see in popular art? If so, are they fairly friendly? My theory is that a lot of deities/entities/etc are thoughtforms given power by the fact that they're recognized and worshipped. So more than likely there is a type of fae like that. Thoughts?

Its hard for me to read with but I love owning it. I prefer the Oracle of Shadows and Light as it's art is much more connected to the meaning of the card.

For example the color red is typically love passion and sex which to most is a good feeling but to someone who may have been abused it's definately not a good thing and they won't look at the color the same. They could also think of dark brown as meaning those things instead of red. The trick to reading tarot cards is to focus on the things that catch your attention and say what comes to mind even if the death card means new beginnings to one person and a journey's ending to another. At least that's what I've sort of done cause it seems to work for me.

Right. But even looking at the symbols of the cards I just couldn't get the meanings of them. It was just one of those decks. I plan on trying them again but I don't know how much I'll feel safe about using them. The cards aren't laminated or very thick so I can see with use them falling apart. I like the art so much I'm afraid to use them. @.@

Mmhm. If I was brave I'd self laminate them... I wonder if kinkos does lamination... I'd pay whatever fee they wanted. I have all sorts of decks that need lamination. *googles*

I'd love to have my own deck, but they're so expensive! I've actually been using these Clow Cards I got 10 years ago when I was little. ^^ It sounds cheesy, but they work amazingly... Unfortunately, I lost the guide that gives me the meanings, and I can't remember what each card means.
For the most part I remember some of them were easy, but they were always frighteningly acurate... and prone to telling me that bad things were coming. >.< And they always were. *sigh* Such is the fate of those of us who are unfortuate enough to be cursed...
