Chandra waited as he disppeared, part of her was telling her to scream as if he was about to bring out some machine and duplicate her DNA or something crazy. She had impressions of it all going wrong and all that was left of her was a pile of plazma and chunks of tissue. Or maybe he was just going to pop out and go 'gotcha' and laugh. She was used to names and being classed as a fruitcake, but this was something she had dreamed of, the one thing she had never had control over -after all she could have changed her appearance on a mere whim.

Then he returned, her heart skipped a beat as she waited in anticipation for something scary looking to be hidden behind his back. Instead he surpised her and pulled out a beautiful long black and white feather, she was no expert but she instantly recognised it as a Cranes, the black in the middle surrounded by white was unmistakable. That said it could have easily been any other black and white bird, her knowlegde was rather limited in that department. "Pretty," she mumbled as she took the feather and held it as if it was the most precious thing in the world.

As Amerald finished speaking she looked up at him and smiled, "A hair?" She said as if asking for confirmation despite the fact he had already said it twice. Reaching up with her free hand she seperated the strands until only one remained in her fingers before she clasped it tightly and pulled. It was a sharp pain but it faded instantly. Slowly she passed it to Amerald and chirped happily, "I will be back tomorrow then. I am not sure my excitement will let me wait much longer...." She giggled softly, at least if this was all some elaborate joke she would be able to get it over with and forget about it, and if it was true.... well.... it would be her dreams greatest desire come to life.
