Strange Shop, Free Stuff~
Rena entered the shop with a smile, it seemed to be a pretty good place to pick up an interesting item or two for a clothing line inspiration. Looking around her eyes darted from item to item, striking curiosity with each new thing. Some of the merchendise was old, some of it new, but all of it interesting to the young and aspiring fashion designer. Each object made her mind buzz with ideas for some new sort of clothing she would later sketch.
She lifted items with delicate fingers, not wanting any need to break-and-buy. After a fair amount of browsing she came to a small section with a few stuffed animals laying around. "How cute!" Rena squealed, lifting a small doll wearing an adorable pink dress. It was a Hello Kitty doll, and the young woman couldn't help but find it adorable and be reminded of her childhood.
Well, it seemed even though the shop had some... interesting objects it had one that managed to really stick in Rena's heart. Picking up the doll she smiled and laughed, poking at the little bow placed on the kitty's head as she looked around a bit more. However, she didn't seem to get as attached to anything as she had the small doll, which she purchased shortly after. It was strange though, how the clerk seemed to make such a point that all sales were final. Why would the young woman want to return such an adorable doll?
Another thing... it was free. The item was free. Upon walking up to the counter the kind clerk told her that no payment was needed. How stranage, what was the point of a shop if you didn't make any money off of it? Oh well, what was done was done and she didn't plan on leaving the generously given item anytime soon. There was something about it that just captivated her. It was so cute, what could she say. It was one of those things that she would certainly keep in her room as an adorable decoration.
And, upon returning home she did, placing it nicely on her bed. Normally the grown woman wouldn't sleep with a stuffed animal, but she would make this one an acception. It was special, for whatever reason. A shelf just didn't seem like a comfortable enough place for it, so the bed would do.
And with that, the woman proceeded to finish her sketches (basing some off of the cute little doll's) and went to bed.

Prompt 1 **Can be either Toddler or Kid stage** So you're looking around, taking in the sights, the sounds...and then you realize: 'Oh s**t! My Kid's gone!'. Oops, seems that under your, uh, careful and attentive watch, the kid got away! Where were you when you realized the kid was missing, where did the kid bugger off to, and what happened once you found them again?
Coming into possession of a young child certainly was not something that happened every day, especially when it had seeminly appeared from a recently bought Hello Kitty Doll wearing a fabulous dress. But, Rena was in no place to complain, the girl was well behaved and adorable and in a more practical sense could certainly work as a large dress up doll. Never before had the woman thought of becoming a parent, but it seemed as if she had no choice and would simply have to do her best in this odd situation.
Looking at the girl and her strange features Rena smiled slightly, at least she was cute. She hoped the girl, who she had named Mitzy, would warm up to her, and in hopes of assisting this she had taken her on a little shopping spree. Both girls seemed to highly appreciate clothes, even though one was far younger than the other. Mitzy always gazed and grinned at bright colors and frills of dresses and the shiny surfaces of new shoes. It seemed the two would get along fairly well together with such a large common interest.
The day seemed perfect, the two were bonding quite well and seemed to enjoy each other's company... at least until Rena turned to show the young girl who had just been next to her a gorgeous pink frilled dress, only to find her gone. Rena's eyes grew wide and panic stricken. Had... had Mitzy run off? Oh no oh no oh no! This couldn't be happening!
Dropping the dress the frantic woman began to run around in search of her young daughter. Where would the girl have gone!? She loved looking at the dresses. After dashing around the clothing store she walked into a mall hallway, peeking in other stores and calling Mitzy's name in hopes she would be heard. With no avail the woman sighed, near tears but holding back (it would have smudged her makeup of course).
The ditzy guardian began to lose hope, finally thinking about admitting her shame to the security guards and swallowing her pride. With a sigh she turned her head, her shoulders lowering in disappointment as she gazed into a small arcade that barely any children actually played in. To her surprise, the young girl was there!
However, she was not playing games or anything you would imagine a child doing in an arcade, in fact the girl was curled up inside of a claw machine, nestled between the stuffed animals. Thinking back at her item Rena smiled, it seemed the girl had grown used to being around other stuffed animals, and just wanted a place that felt like home to take a nap. Well, looks like she would be getting a lot more stuffed animals to keep the girl in her room at night...
But... how was she going to get her out of there? Rapping lightly on the glass Rena called the girl's name through quivvering lips, "Mitzy, Mitzy! Wake up, it's time to go home now." she spoke, still tapping ever so slightly.
The girl yawned, opening her mouth wide and stretching one arm while rubbing her eyes with another. "Rena? I was just sleepy~" the girl said with a soft giggle. "Mitzy, h-how did you...? How did you get in there?"
Mitzy only let out another laugh, swimming through the other animals as she slipped down the prize slot of the machine. Rena's eyes were wide again, never had she imagined that was how the girl had gotten in. "Well... umm... Let's just go home." the frazzled woman said, tired from her panic and unwilling to ask questions as she took the strange young child home, hoping her bed would be just as comfortable as the tiny claw machine the girl had rested in.
