When Lia was put in the chair, she began to eat almost immediately. Of course, considering that she was just a baby, a mess was inevitable...though at least she wasn't throwing her food anywhere. She was eating it - she just happened to be missing her mouth on occassion. You can't expect a baby to have perfect depth perception, afterall.
The corn Sin'aeis stopped momentarily to beam at Flitch, and announce her opinion of the food, "Iss good!"
The way she'd been digging in told that well enough, but she felt a verbal assurance was a good idea.

Flitch himself was eating quickly, though in a much neater fashion than Lia was. He himself got nothing spilled, and would sometimes pause to clean up messy bits within his reach with his napkin. It was more out of a sort of reflexive habit, being how he was the one in charge of cleaning off the table after meals. Sure, since he had company over Anvion would get it, but he liked being helpful.
"Good!" He responded cheerily to Lia's remark, beaming back. "I'm glad you like it. Hey, what do you wanna do after lunch? Wanna go play in my room?"

"Uhuh," Was the sound accompanied by a cheerful nod, in response to Flitch's question.
With a few more bites of her food, she finished it off, and then speculatively gazed at her hands. They were rather messy, and she was sure that her face was messy, too...and while normally she'd have thought nothing of it, she didn't want to get 'Fishies' room messy.
"Fishie? D'yave a nappin?" Or rather, a napkin.

"A napkin? Yeah, hold on."
Sliding down from his seat, Flitch hurried over to the counter that lined a wall of the kitchen, pulling open a drawer and taking a few napkins from it. Lia was pretty messy, so he would most likely need two or three.
"Here you go!" He said, coming back over and handing the napkins to Lia. "If you wanna wash up too, I can help with that if you want." After all, the sink was way too high for someone her height to reach. Flitch himself sometimes had trouble reaching, being he was rather small for his age, but a good stool always helped.
