And horrified at the same time. There is already a few working RMT sites for FFXIV. They only work on the 1 running server, but they already have PLing services and apparently CD keys available for purchase.

I wonder if SE knows about this. More than likely they endorse it... judging by how many CD keys they have available anyways.

In FFXI, there were 3 sites that had 'favor' from SE. They were allowed and overlooked by the special task force charged with eliminating RMTs, for the most part. They only sold gil, they were not allowed to PL anyone like most other sites would offer.

They were overlooked because SE took a share of their profits. Only the first site I linked looked like it could be big enough to be endorsed. The fact that they had more than 350 CDs to sell tells me a little of how large their operation is. They are either in league someway with SE, or they put a few thousand applications to be beta testers to recieve that many accepted results.
