Windy's Noodle Nest
Welcome to my Noodle nest! My Noodles love roaming around but for the most part they stay here because they're lazy. It's not uncommon for them to play cards or talk about interpretive dance. And don't forget about casual Tuesdays (what??)... Yeah, this is a crazy place to call home. Navigation

A bit about Windeh
(aka the twig gatherer for the nest) Hello, I am Windy, Noodle connoisseur (not really but kind of). My name is: Windy Dasher But I also go by: Windeh, Winds, and twig gatherer (according to the pets) As you can tell, I am: Female I like: reading, writing, drawing (the basics), video games, napping in comfortable locations, more reading, fancy coffee drinks, and my lovely pets. I don't really care for: taking things for granted, nuts, closed-mindedness, uncontrollable twig-killing fires

Alias: Thunj
Gender: Female
Flavor: Proud, with a touch of sophistication
The makings of a high-class dish: Thunj is a sweet, caring kit. She likes things to be done in a certain way and expects everyone to adhere to her higher standards. She isn't very outgoing, and prefers to be indoors reading or even lightly napping (when no one is looking). Thunj is smart, with all the time she spends reading she is well-informed about the going-ons of the world. She is a bit shy though, that no one will take time to understand her own little quirks. This drives her into a circular pattern and she often has to remind herself to get up and go outside to enjoy the company of other noodles.

Friends: The nest <3
As the unofficial leader of the nest, Thunj takes responsibility for the noodles here and makes sure that they are doing well (at the very least). Although not very outgoing herself, she'll take time to stretch her legs with Panth and Ocean, sit down and have meaningful conversations with Van, and try to get Remy out of her shell. It takes a lot of time, but she finds it rewarding and believes that it helps tie them altogether as a family.
Pantherman
Thunj likes being with him, even though he goofs around a lot. When she reads something interesting she'll tell him about it, although he's often rolling around or tickling himself with his tail as she does so. She doesn't mind because she knows he's listening the whole time.

Alias: Sit Kitty
Gender: Male
Flavor: Playful, with a touch of oblivious.
The silly toppings on a delicious bowl: Pantherman has always been a mischievous kit. He's likes to run around and explore, cause havoc, solve problems...anything to stay busy. He means well and is good-natured, a bit clumsy, but that can't be helped. He has something of a short attention-span, but when it comes to really important issues, he'll get serious and get things done (good thing there aren't a lot of important issues most of the time).
Pantherman doesn't like being alone. He has no known family and is ok with that, but he becomes easily depressed when he's the only one around. When he can't find anyone, he'll do his best to distract himself to stave off the sadness.

Friends: Thunj
Pantherman loves being around Thunj. As the first two noodles of the nest (and for a long time, the only two) they spent a lot of time getting to know each other and bonding over the most basic aspects of life. He likes listening to her read aloud, or just talk, even though he doesn't understand most of it. On more than one occasion he's fallen asleep next to her as she shares a new book. He feels most comfortable around her and fancies her glowy, intriguing markings.
Ocean
When Panth needs a partner in crime, he turns to Ocean. They have no problem finding new activities to try and mysterious places to explore. She plays hard for an angelic lady, but Panth has long since learned to roll with it. Panth likes her swirly markings and small wings. He has a crazy notion to fly and together they have started planning a way for her to help him get airborne.

Name: Van Fanel
Alias: Van
Gender: Male
Flavor: Stubborn, with a good heart in the middle.
The past of a royal dish: Van is the prince and heir to the kingdom of Fanelia. He comes from a strong lineage of Kings and Draconians, and has become a noble noodle. He doesn't spend much time in the nest, often out exploring and searching. The others ask what he's looking for, but he doesn't quite know himself. Van follows his own beliefs and instincts (and occasionally the sway of the pendant around his neck) and knows he'll find his destiny soon.
Family: None
Friends: The nest folk.
Van knows that he's a little different from the rest of the noodles, but he doesn't let that become a barrier. He's very friendly with them, because he knows that they're trustworthy. However, there's something inside him that tells him to search, and that notion is his strongest motivator. That means he's away from the nest a lot, and from the rest of the noodles (they aren't keen on leaving for unknowns). But when he does return, he greets them warmly with some kind of souvenir, and they welcome him back ready to hear about what he's seen and done.

Name: Remy
Alias: None
Gender: Female
Flavor: Independent, with a sprinkle of snobbery.
The mysterious distant dish: Remy was born from a suspicious test tube experiment along with some other noodles. She isn't fully aware of this, but knows that she is different. This has caused her to be quite aloof, even with the others in the nest. She's very territorial and doesn't like unannounced (or unplanned) entrances or overly enthusiastic bouts of any kind. Remy doesn't go outside unless it's night and the only thing she really enjoys is fine dining.
Family: None
Friends: The nest-ish.
At first, she got along fairly well with Thunj, with their quiet natures matching nicely. However, since the spontaneous Panth often tails Thunj, Remy has since found her company...less enjoyable. Thunj will still approach her now and then, to remind her that the nest is, for all intents and purposes, her family and will be there for her.

Alias: Ocean
Gender: Female
Flavor: Delicate, with a touch of whimsy.
The winding path to an angelic bowl: Ocean is all about tranquility and peace. She's rarely violent, even when others attempt to wrong her. She is very confident in what she's doing and isn't afraid to stick by her less-than-action-packed lifestyle. And as much as she enjoys the calm and quiet aspect of her day-to-day, Ocean's favorite things to do involve running until she's tired (along the beach) and laughing as much as possible. She exudes life and tries to spread this happiness to as many noodles as possible.
Family: None
Friends: River Aeroloft
Ocean and River grew up together despite coming from very different backgrounds. Thankfully, Ocean doesn't fly much for an angel, and prefers being around her nature namesake. They spend most of their time exploring new areas and learning even more about each other. While she is passive in most fields, when it comes to River, Ocean takes the lead. She initiated their (successful) relationship and politely demands his affections when they are together. River is very protective of Ocean and doesn't like it when she wanders far away, although it is in her nature to do so. He accepts that she is in a separate nest than he is, and is very comfortable with her housemates.
Panth
Of all her nestmates, Ocean spends the most time with Pantherman due to his neverending energetic attitude. They often playfully rough-house (to River's dismay) or go for long runs outside. They don't spend much time talking, but when do, they span topics from fantasy locations to personal feelings.
