Life's tough...get a helmet
I will admit, I've thought about what it's like to die...and it scares the s**t out me. Life is short and you only get one of them. You don't get another chance so why waste the only one you have?
There's nothing in life that is worth giving your life for. If there are others who don't like you because you're emo (personally, I'm not too fond of the emo kids at my school), and they're threatening your life...take a little action.
Your girlfriend and parents are right to be concerned, especially if its going to affect you physically. As wussy and unpleasant as it may sound, you may need to contact authorities (whether it be your parents, prinicipal, or someone else) and tell them what's been going on. You shouldn't be getting beat up for being who you are...no matter how you act. It's your business and not there's
Now here's my personal two cents I'm throwing in. You don't need courage to kill yourself. All it takes is being a coward. A coward can easily off him/herself without a thought or a care. It takes courage to look at that situation and walk away. You're looking for a strength for all the wrong reasons. You said you had a girlfriend, right? And parents? I hope you've thought about how this would affect them...how it affects them now. Do you think your girlfriend enjoys knowing you're like this?...that you think that way? Don't be selfish about your life. Believe it or not, there are others who obviously care. If you don't want to live for yourself, live for them.

Everyone, at some point in life, has considered death. Not necessarily as self inflictment, but you get my drift. You're no different. So your neighborhood is bad, your girlfriend doesn't like your whining and you don't have many friends. You sound like.. wow, actually, every other kid I knew in school. I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm being realistic. Get over it. You have a girlfriend, that's more than a lot of people I know. Suicide is never an option, and if it isn't one for you but you constantly contemplate it, it's time to seek out help. End of the line. If you're that depressed all of the time and have no true, traumatic problems to speak of, its possible that you may have a chemical imbalance. If you don't believe in anti-depressants (which some people don't, and I personally am rather stand offish about) there are herbal remedies, counseling and the ever so "******** off, world" approach.
