Proof.At first when I heard it I didn't believe it, but finally a golden opportunity to get back at them for all the stuff they have done. Granted, at the most I'll probably just do some minor trolling but the Westboro Baptist Church is going to have to deal with a heavy dose of satire and Lady Gaga. I'll be hopefully getting my portable stereo ready to blare Lady Gaga music tomorrow (presuming I'm able to get there), but it's going to be early as hell in the morning for me and if I do get there, I'll be doing it for Gaga and the gays. (Sorry Jeff and Sam, had to post this but you guys understand. Please move or delete this after August 7th, but until then keep it on the front page for great justice)

Play Ribbons, Shake Ure Kitty, and Rock Show for me!! I should already know that Poker Face and Telephone are already on the list. Maybe fancy Pants would be a good edition?

But seriously, just annoy them. oh and do that "Does God hate..." thing.
I wonder how annoyed WBC is at Prop 8 getting flipped?

Marokia Play Ribbons, Shake Ure Kitty, and Rock Show for me!! I should already know that Poker Face and Telephone are already on the list. Maybe fancy Pants would be a good edition? It can't be done without the questions.

Good news and bad news. The city and the several churches have banned together to go against the Westboro Baptist Church and are blocking off Fourth Street (the street that the church where the funeral is taking place), and the city authorities are preventing them from protesting due to a lack of permit. Even if the WBC do manage to pull something, they are being completely blocked off from public view so that they can disrupt no one.
This brings it so that they can't harm anyone, but I also won't be able to do any shenanigans on them. Another thing is taking place so I can't be a part of the festivities; my friend is going to court tomorrow morning for a hearing in family court that determines whether she may or may not keep her son. I'm going to testify on her behalf so that she can keep her son who has cystic fibrosis and could possibly die if taken into foster care.
So all in all I do get to help some good but not exactly what I had in mind. I was hoping to go up against Westboro for Gaga and the gays but there's been a change in plans so now my focus is making sure my friend gets to keep her son and so that I can be a good gothmother. 3nodding

I am amused. If they ever end up showing up when I'm around, I'll have to do something like this.
My boyfriend's sister actually lives in Topeka, so she has to deal with their worthless existence an a daily basis. Hopefully sometime soon the woman formerly known as Stefani Germanotta will team up with other powerful and fabulous females in the pop world and overthrow this world, transforming it into a place of peace and love, a place where all of the sexy ugly glamour zombies can run around and enjoy the great music and astounding fashion. And the WBC will be forced to endure our new rulers' blueberry kisses until they kill themselves.
