Abigail saw out of the corner of her eye another girl looking around as well, and she looked at her. With a glare and a sudden movement she fixed the other girl with a glare, ignoring the boy that was beside her, and then stuck her tongue out. Just as suddenly her attention was gone, back to daydreaming, and she reached up to turn the music box back on in the Matron's absence. An Austrian Waltz played on, an artist that was neither recognizable nor entirely clear in whether the composition was more chaotic than orderly, but Abigail didn't seem to mind.

Grace followed the woman in silence, taking in the architecture around her, the graceful lines of the building. She would have loved to take a look around, see more, had she been in any other situation and position. As for the moment, she was far more concerned with her looming "appointment".
As they reached the door, she listened to the other woman's words and smiled sweetly, her own expression not reaching her eyes. "Of course, Matron. After all... he's only trying to help." There was a bitter twist to her tone on her last words, and her eyes flashed. She turned on her heel and walked to the door, knocking lightly and then slipping inside, not really sure what she was going to find.
