Alright Since Aug. Is my b-day month I would like to celebrate with this special dragon rp Contest.
(Keep in mind the color of the orb is the color of its eyes)

Pet Requirements: These pets are rp required, meaning that once they emerge from it orb you must rp if you want it to grow to its next stage. For more information on the dragon kirin species click Here
Responses: All prompt responses must be posted Here
Participation: Anyone is allowed to participate, and you are allowed to enter for more then one of the dragon kirin, but keep in mind you may only win one.
Judgment: This will be judged on how creative your short story is. Details are important, and so is constant personality of your characters. Grammar and spelling are important as well. If your story has been accepted it will be highlighted in Green with the uncert of your dragon's orb posted above it. If your story is not accepted (Highlighted in red) feel free to make a new post and different story (or post your edited story), look at how those who were accepted did there's, that is sort of what I will be looking for in a response to this, don't take their ideas though and try to make them yours because then that would be plagiarism, if you do then I'll ban you from this contest .
Prompt:
Using one of your kirin write a short story with most of the following answered in it; (If you don't have a kirin of your own then you can make one up. These questions really depend on how you go towards things. Also the questions are more there to guide you/ give you ideas.)
What happens when you randomly encounter this dragon? Do you befriend it? Run away? Hide? Battle it?
What sort of personality does this dragon that you've encounter have? Is it Evil, good or Neutral?
What's it name? What does its markings mean to it? Where did it come from? Why is it here?
Do they have any extra markings on them? (Aside from the ones you see on the orbs. Since its left side is hidden)

Shilo walked in the forest, much deeper then she is used to going. She noticed a green creature in the distance east from where she stood. She crept foreword , when she got close she hid behind a tree that was closest to the creature, it turned out the creature was a dragon, which scared her, but also excited her. She watched the dragon petting the plants around it, and seeming to be having a conversation. She coughed to let it know she was around, also to see the reaction.
"Oh my, who is there?"
"H-hi" She squeaked nervously.
"Hi, no need to be scared, I am a kind dragon. My name is Etai, may I ask your name?"
Shilo peeked over. "my name is Shilo, n-nice to meet you" She walked towards the dragon, noticing the tree mark on his leg. "Why do you have a tree on your leg?"
"Oh that's because My element is earth."
"Earth?"
"Yes, I can communicate with plants."
"How?"
"I'm not sure, just something I can do, come closer so we can chat without raising our voices"
"why are you here? Where did you come from?"
"I came from the north to the dragon Convention to show I am an adult"
"What do you like?"
"I love plants, and rain, they feed my friends, and make them happy. My plant friends are my best friends"
Shilo felt she could trust the dragon. The two talked into late that day.

Shilo walked towards a huge waterfall, She then noticed a blue creature swimming around near the waterfall. Shilo wonderd what creature what could be so beautiful. She got closer and realized it was a dragon. She hid behind a rock, then coughed to get the dragons attention.
"What? I know I'm beautiful, but I have a stalker already?" The dragon swam delicately around the water, barely making a wave.
Shilo did not move.
"Come out, I'm not gonna kill you, unless you really piss me off."
Shilo moves a foot making a lil rustle.
"I see you now!! why are you here looking at my beauty?" A wave crashes behind her making it all more dramatic.
"H-hi." Shilo waves at the blue dragon.
"Oh My Gawd, aren't you a girl??" The dragon fell backwards, sliding into the water yet again.
"Uh, um, yes, why?" She had no clue what her sex had to do with this conversation.
"Well..." Giggles, swimming to the edge of the water. "I have never had a girl ogling over me before! This is definitely going in my diary when i get home after this who adult thingie is over" Smiles, blushing. "My mom was like, oh you will have to get used to it, you are just so pretty!"
"Er...What about a grown up thingie?" Sh asked trying not to act annoyed with the way this dragon acted. "Oh and I'm not stalking you, it was a just by a mist---accident I seen you. I like guys"
"Whatever, I know what I know, and I know this! But anyways, I am going to this convention like thing to prove I'm an adult, I like came from the far west, Isn't that neat?? I then can go back home and hang with all my guy friends that are like older then me. They sooo miss me! But I'm sure you can see why"
"Um, I'm Shilo, it's nice to meet you, are you taking a break?" Shilo walks closer and sits on the ground next to water.
"Yea, I need to get wet, my skin dries out sometimes, also I'm a water dragon, so like I love the water, right?" She smiles sweetly.
Shilo looks up at the dragon thinking if this dragon had hair she would be a blond. "What are you going to do there?"
"I'm not like sure, I guess we have to like prove we are like totally adults, right?" The dragon looks confused.
"Do you know where you are going?" Shilo wondered if this dragon would be stuck here forever.
"Oh yea, I so do, It's part of the thingie to get their on our own." She stopped to look at her hoof.
"So this is just for you guys? How many are there?" Shilo wondered.
"Probably like 1000, from all over the world" Slashing her tail around.
"How old are you anyway?" She guessed 12.
"I'm 47, so yea, I'm still young. Oh, where are like my manners, my name is Umi, what's yours?"
"I'm Shilo, nice to mea you....I guess. 46...Sheesh" Scratching her head.
"I loved meeting you! Loved the water" Climbs out of the water shaking off the water.
"Well have fun turning into an adult!!" Shilo waves good bye.
Umi smiles back, then turns, starts flapping and flies away. Shilo wondering if she will ever meet this strange but interesting dragon again.

It was getting darker by the minute, Shilo was lost and couldn't find her way home. She noticed a glowing light. She fumbled her way towards it, now seeing it was a dragon, she got a lil scared. She tried to hide but she fell down flat on her face.
"Are you okay young one?" The dragon was looked at Shilo with concern.
"I-I'm sorry, my name is Shilo." She shivered, not knowing if he were going to attack her.
"There is nothing to be sorry for, are you okay? Also my name is Hikaru." He held out a paw to welcome her.
Shilo starts to cry. "I'm lost, I can't find my way home, I miss my mom, I want to go home!" Shilo falls to the ground wailing.
"I'm sorry young one, it is too dark to help you right now, But I will keep you warm with my fire; then we Then in the morning I will help you find your way home." Hikaru moved closer and pet her softly.
Is it true there are different kinds of dragons?She whimpered, still upset.
"I am an elemental dragon." Hikaru smiled enjoying this little chat.
"Elemental? You are an element dragoon? Which element?" Shilo looked confused.
"my element is fire."He put his paw into the fire.
"So you must love fire the most..." She yawned, tired from her outburst of tears.
"No, what I love are stones, I collect them. They comfort me" He laid out several stones, shilo eyed the red one.
Shilo eyed the red one."I love the red one, what is that stone?" She curiously asked.
"That stone happens to be a ruby, would you like it?" He asked with a smile.
"B-but that's an expensive stone, I couldn't take that away from you..." Shilo still looking at the Ruby.
"Anything for a new friend, I treasure friends more then stones, so will you accept my gift?" He picked up the stone placing it in front of Shilo.
"Okay...But I owe you something big, okay?" She picked up the stone, it was cold to the touch, Shilo loved it rubbing it on her cheek, hugging it.
"If you are willing to be my friend, we would be even" Hikaru smiled at her.
"A dragon as a friend? You are my very first friend!!" Shilo had a huge smile, blushing a little bit.
"Thank you Shilo, I am proud to be your friend, I am honored" Hikaru patted Shilo's head again.
"Why haven't seen you around, you must live deep in the woods." Shilo Smiled up at Hikaru.
"I'm on my way to the convention to prove I am an adult. I came all the way from the south." Stretching his tired wings.
Shilo yawned some more."Wow, the south? That's far right?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.
You look very tired, would you like to use my leg as a pillow, and then I will cover you with my wing? It will keep you warm." Hikaru looked down at at Shilo concerned.
Shilo Laid her head down on hisa leg which was kinda hard, but comfy, the wing covered her up. Shilo felt warm and safe. "You are my best friend"
"Thank you lil one" He closed his eyes, leaning against a tree behind him. "Sweet dreams"
"Sweet dreams Hikaru" Shilo said already half asleep.

Prompt Response:Shilo was running in the field, very beautiful sky when she thought she seen a strange cloud, so she stopped. The cloud turned into a pretty pink dragon, landing a few meters away from her. Shilo squeaked in fear."Who is there??" The dragon turns to look right at Shilo."Don't kill me!!!" Shilo cowers, her body trembling."I'm not gonna kill you, for one, you are too bony, two, I don't eat things that talk. Three, I'm not hungry, so stop acting like a baby, I hate when things cower, it pisses me off; at least try to fight the creature! " The dragon flops on the ground."But you are so big..." Shilo looks up slowly."Forget it, you are safe. I'm too tired to give a damn about you." The dragon rubs her tired eyes."My name is Shilo." Sitting up to face the dragon, still scared."Ugh, my name is Fuu, i guess nice to meet you." She flapped her wings in annoyance.Shilo stood up. "May I ask you a few questions?""Why??" Fuu looked at the deer like thing, puzzled."I never met a....pretty dragon before" Thinking if she put pretty in there it might help with the dragons mood."Whatever, ask away" Fuu closed her eyes, now rubbing her temples."Where are you from?""I came from far East, that's why I'm so tired."
"Why did you come here, where are you headed?""I'm off to prove I'm an adult, so then eventually I can marry my true love Tremar." She smashed her tail on the ground."Oh, that's sweet.." Shilo smiled at Fuu."No its not, this convention thing is taking me away from my life, why the hell do I have to prove I'm an adult? It's B.S. I am an adult already..." Smoke poofed from Fuu's mouth."Where is this at?""Look I'm not even supposed to tell anyone this exists, so drop it" Fuu's tail wagging against the ground knocking a few rocks away."You looked like you were a cloud way up there, How is that possible? I could only tell you were a dragon when you landed, why?""That's because I'm Elemental." This made Fuu smile, She liked hearing how good she could hide herself."Elemental?" She tilted her head in curiously."Means I rule over an element, Mine is air" She raised her clawed hand, making a puff of cloud appear."Wow, so that's why your marking look that way""Oh, those, I got them from my mothers side." Fuu rubbed her arm."So this Tremar, is he special to you?"Fuu closed her eyes and blushed. "He saved my life when I was young, I have loved him ever since then. He is the greatest dragon I have ever met, and I am very lonely without him." "Awe"
"Don't patronize me, or I might need a snack.""I'm sorry, I hope you do well" Shilo said, tiny bit of fear went down her spine like ice."If I don't, I won't be able to be with my love, so I have to pass, no hoping please.""Oh.""Well I have to go, I don't want to be late. Meeting you was okay." Fuu stood back up, dusting herself off."Nice to meet you too!" Shilo waved to hopefully, her new friend.Fuu flapped her wings hard, flying back high into the sky; now forming a n ew pink cloud. Shilo ran home to tell her mother she met a real life dragon!

Prompt Reponse:Kyandii , the brightest Kirin of all, sees her friend, Grandmother Rave, the one to gave her her colors. Kyandii’s life revolves around colors, she believes every color has a meaning in her life, the pink symbolizes her love her passion, the green is her life, the orange red siginifys the strength and will power she has to overcome anything. Most of importantly of all her colors is her White, its her pureness. On Kyandii’s latest visit, she was struck by a heart breaking story of Dragon Kirins and what had befallen them…Grandmother Rave began with “the legend of the first four dragon kirins”. Each of different colors and elements, and that one of them was meant for every special Kirin to befriend, and love as one. But each Kirin that wanted to befriend it, the kirin would have to go through certain tasks to gain the dragon’s trust. By proving to the dragon that he or she is not going to harm it, or use it for evil. As there were many trying to attain these dragons for evil deeds.
After many many years, all of the dragon kirin were taken. One of the dragon kirin turned against its owner and escaped, as it forsaw evil deeds were planned for it. The kirin left was an orb that was pink, with green moss growing on it, it had white markings on it from its previous owner’s shackles and bindings he had placed on her. She hid deep in a dark forest far away from anyone that could ever find her..to be alone away from everything that could harm her again.. Kyandii interrupts Grandmother and exclaims “ I will find that lonley dragon I will show her what life’s worth living for, she needs live. She cant stay forever in that CAVE!” Grandmother looks almost shocked at Kyandiis sudden inspration to find the dragon…then Grandmother hesitatnly says..” Kyandii..many many people and kirins have searched for this special dragon.. all who have failed don’t return..” Kyandii stands up and looks at Grandmother Rave, and says with a strong passionate voice, “ I will go find her Grandmother, and I will Bring her home to you,”
Kyandii’s colors start to swirl around, the Reds and orange get brighter, almost as if she was glowing with power…after a long silence the air starts to hum with power, and finally Grandmother Rave speaks…”I will tell you where to begin..start in the forest, look for a cave. There you will find her,do not frighten her, tell her of which you want to accomplish. And how…I am the guardian of her, no one has gotten past me to see her, as everyone has failed the first task of earning the kirin’s trust. You, Kyandii have the spirit, the heart and the passion that may win her over…now go on your quest…it is going to be difficult but well worth it in the long run..” kyandii grabs her bag and looks back to thank Grandmother Rave..”thank…” Kyandii realizes that no one is there…anymore. She vanished..Kyandii stops for a second then walks out to start her own legend.
Kyandii started in the early afternoon before the sun got to its peak in the sky, there she realized is when she should find the kirin, as that time is when Kyandiis colors shine the brightest. The first time Kyandii got lost, it didn’t deturr her it just made her will stronger. Kyandii felt a presence in her head that kept nagging her to go a different direction..the more she listened to the voice, it grew stronger and stronger..she started to notice the forest got quieter the deeper she got into it.
Then she saw it, a small cave there were swords and bodies of men lying around..her heart quickened. Kyandii was about to take a step into the opening..and fear seized her from moving. Then she saw a giant man in an all black cloak, an dark auroa floating around him, he felt evil..then the strange man yelled into the cave..”DRAGON KIRIN I’M GOING TO MAKE YOU MINE AGAIN! COME TO ME I AM YOUR FIRST AND ONLY MASTER!” the ground trembled when he spoke. A loud screech of protest came from the cave, Kyandii quickly moved out of sight and watched the man..he moved closer to the cave. Then he spoke again.. “I am Kurayami your master come out of this cave if you do not come out I will come get you, Jonetsu!” Kurayami went into the cave and loud screeches and screams came from the cave…a sudden urge to save, to protect…Jonetsu from this monster..Kurayami. Kyandii ran towards the cave and saw the monster emerging from the cave with the orb power flowing from it and breaking trees around them. Kyandii screamed at the monster..”LET HER GO SHE DOESN”T WANT YOU! YOUR HURTING HER”….the monster looked at Kyandii and laughed as he spoke..”its not the first time! Shes mine.” He went to move and Kyandii blocked his path, “move child or I will destroy you.” He said as he moved again and she blocked him off and said “….never…” Kyandii then makes a move to snatch the orb from under the monsters arms..but he was to fast for her. The monster shoves kyandii back by her shoulder, almost breaking her shoulder, she falls to the ground with a thud. Shes stunned for a moment because no ones ever harmed her before.
The lights still coming from the orb hit her and she feels a sudden burst of passion to empower her to save Jonetsu.. As Kurayami walks towards the wall of trees, Kyandii ignores all progests from her body and shoulder, and gets on all fours, rushes at Kurayami with all of her power and forces her horn into Kurayami’s back. Kurayami screams in pain and pulls Kyandii’s horn out of his back and turns to face her..with a smile on his face..he puts his hand to his chest and starts laughing thinking she didn’t pierce his heart, it’s the only way to kill a sorcorer like him, then he stops laughing and looks down at his hand and sees red.she just barely missed his heart..he looks at Kyandii..shes not standing on her left foot anymroe its too painful, shes breathing heavy and approaching him limping, she pulls Jonetsu from him, as shes watching him making sure he makes no moves.. he let out a sound almost barely audiable and the forest started to shake..then the voice in her head..told her to run..very fast. That they were going to kill her. As she turns her back to run kurayami shouts..”you’ll never escape, and if you DO escape I will find you and take what is rightfully MINE!” that spark of hope may soon ignite the fire that can save her from her impending doom.
Kyandii’s colors shine brighter than ever almost blinding as shes running through the forest. Her horn was stained with Kurayami’s blood turning it a bright crimson red, it gave her power, the will power to protect Jonetsu with her life. She kept running for what seemed to be hours she reached the back of what appeared to be Grandmother Rave’s house, it was destroyed, ransacked..Kurayami’s evil auroa was all around the little cottage, Kyandii went around front and saw Grandmother Rave standing infront of her destroyed home.. Kyandii apporached her with caution..she was crying, Kyandii spoke to her..”are you okay? Did he hurt you?...i’m so sorry..”
Grandmother Rave looks at Kyandii and shakes her head and speaks in a low trembling voice..”yes I’m fine, luckily for me I wasn’t here when this happened.” She looked at the glowing pink ball on Kyandii’s back and saw Jonetsu. Kyandii steps closer to Grandmother Rave and says..”I saved her from Kuryami the monster that harmed her before. Shes safe with me, I risked my life for her…and will until the day I die..” Jonetsu then speaks..”thank you, but I could have handled it myself. I have grown bitter over these years of being owned by a kirin. Or anyone. But you’ve risked your life to save me from HIM, and vowed to protect me with your life. Kirin called Kyandii..will you take on this task forever protecting me from monsters like Kurayami? Will you child?...” Kyandii looks at Grandmother Rave and Jonetsu…”Yes, Dragon Kirin Jonetsu I will protect you with my life, my love and my soul.”
Jonetsu’s power flows from her orb and encircles Kyandii leaving an imprint of her bindings on Kyandii’s legs, to signify the bond they are now sharing together. Grandmother Rave breaks the silence and speaks to them as one..”Jonetsu, Kyandii, you two must leave this place, go somewhere.. find the other Dragon Kirin, and spread the story. Come with me and I will take you to the first location to where the first claimed dragon was taken.”
All three of them set out on another exploration to search for the others in hope to bring peace back to their world.
