Sometimes people post a lot in the mornings and evenings. Right now everyone is suffering from winter slump though so posting is a bit slow. Don't lose hope though things will pick up.

You should make a place for people to tell you when they won't be able to get online.

I know I haven't beed around much, and there is a reason for this.
The guild isn't very user friendly. Every type of discussion is seperated, with titles that are hard to decipher. Because you have next to nothing in the main forum, it makes you look inactive and unfriendly. Because you are so divided it also seems like you have trouble maintaining discussions in any subforum. I posted something in a forum and it took three days or more to get a response. In fact, it was three days without a post in that forum at all. You have so few posts per day i think you would do much better if you nixed all the subforums (except maybe the GD one) and just threw everything into the main forum again. I bet you would really get a rush of posts because it would be easier to see what on earth has been going on because it would all be in one place. This idea has been raised already, in the previous post. Someone didn't know that there was a thread in existance, and this was probably because it was burried in a subforum that they didn't go to that often. The multiple subforum thing also hurts you because it is difficult to tell where you should post topics. It may make good sense to you, because you have been here for a while, but i have to tell you, the way your guild is now is by no means inviting or easily understandable to a new member.

I'm sorry that you've had such a negative experience. I find it funny that you would be complaining about the subforums. When this guild first opened people complained about the LACK of subforums. I'm not really sure what to do to make your experience more pleasant. Sadly sometimes this is not a very active one. I sadly cannot do much about that as it is members who make a guild active. I always find it kind of amusing that people will leave a guild because it is not active enough rather than trying to fix the problem by posting more often. I am only one person, I can only post so much before it becomes just me talking to myself. I will take your suggestion under advisement and put up a poll to gather other user opinions on the subforums. Hopefully that can help me understand the mood of the general population better.

I'm not planning on leaving, and i don't really care either way what you do. I believe enough in what this guild stands for to look past a dissagreement over organisation.
Also, if your guild opened right around when subforums were first introduced, that explains why people complained about the lack of them. Everyone and their mother bought subforums when they were first introduced, but in my experience, they can really hurt a guild when not used wisely. In one of the guilds that I run, we have four subforums and we don't have uses for three of them. We don't need a crew forum, and the other subforums used to host a few roleplays that I recently helped buy a guild of their own. So, now i have three subforums and no idea what to do with them. We aren't active enough to segment topics (not to mention we are a religious tolerance guild, so unity is what we strive for). So what do I do with the subforums? I don't want to delete them, what a waste of gold! I don't want to rent them out, because who know what would happen then...and no one in the guild has any ideas what to do with them beyond things that i think belong in our GD subforum.... I totally understand the "Okay, so what do i do now?" thing. I also understand you keeping some of your subforums as they are, because they are things that you could validly seperate, but other things just seem like.... Why not keep them together? Get lots of people's input, rather than just the people that frequent that particular subforum?
I could post more if you want me to, but i feel like i'm already talking your ear off... I mean, typing your eyes off?
