Snowpaya stopped and looked up at the moving vines. There appeared to be something moving within the bulbs, and he had a feeling they would certainly be bloodthirsty.

Snowpaya jumped onto the vines and sniffed around for Letum, then began crawling on one of the vines to investigate the bulb.

"Think you're going to get off easily, do you? You're a Shadowstep, a Wraith! You fight without thinking, remember? Go fight John."

Even with this absolute command, Snowpaya still hesitated. He knew the consequences of fighting, and he still feared death to some degree.

"Fight now, or you'll never get to her."

Taking a deep breath and gritting his fangs, Snowpaya leapt down from the vine and charged into the battle between John and Kage. He changed back into his human body as he got closer, hardening his skin as he did so but realizing that he'd already used up a lot of energy fighting Tsako. He would have to wait for a chance to break into the fight first, however.

While Tsako was waiting for John to be finished, quite a ways away from the battle, she was meditating. She was gathering her strength again, letting her Vitakinesis work in little spurts to fix her injuries. She wasn't concerned with John's fight, after all he could very well take care of himself. He seemed very angry at that, so she didn't want to interfere. She noticed the vines and bulbs growing out, as she was surveying the area every few moments. She knew she had to destroy them, but she had to build up her energy again. Her adrenaline rush had been wearing down, and she was trying to draw it out through meditation. That was proving to be very difficult, so she started working herself up in her head. She thought about the things that made her angriest the fastest. Her blood started to pump harder in her veins.

The bulbs on the vines began to grow and expand more rapidly now as time passed. Inside the vines itself Letum was still healing, his eyes shut and his heart beating slowly. The only thing that was keeping him alive at this point was his own internal will and the healing properties the vines possessed, though because he infused the seeds with his blood it would only heal him but it came at a cost to him.

By this point most of his severe wounds had been taken care of, freeing him from the threat of death but still had little strength remaining. He was taking this opportunity to recover what energy he could while allowing this not simply pan out. Rest was best for him right now and despite how much he hated it he knew he was no god, he couldn't go one forever without any rest and spewing out energy like it was endless.

Tsako knew she had to act fast now, she tried to destroy the bulbs by burning them away. She sent waves of flames into the center of the bulbs, trying to destroy whatever was inside of them before they bloomed.

"You know what to do already."

Snowpaya could sense the intense heat coming from Tsako and attacking the bulbs. He changed into his panther form and rushed away from the battle between John and Kage towards Tsako and the bulbs. When he was close enough, he changed back into his human form and climbed onto the vines, crawling towards the bulbs and using Thermokinesis to draw enough heat from the flames surrounding the bulbs to kill the flames.

The vines sensed Snow's movements and in a swift movement they grasped him, pulling him back and away from the bulbs. As they made contact a message was transmitted into him directly. 'Don't worry about the elements...stop the physical.' It was the easiest message that Letum could sent in his current state. He was to drained to much else, he needed the plant to do the work for him, using his own powers would only harm him further. After the message was sent, he was released from the vines hold.

With Snowpaya out of the way of the flames, they made direct contact with a portion of the bulbs. The only problem was they appeared to become consumed by the bulbs, swirling before being absorbed in. The flames seemed to breath further life into the bulbs. This was a stunning feature, unlike John's earlier attack Tsako's attack didn't hold the amount of energy needed to rip past the vines. However, John attacked when the bulbs hadn't grown out yet, this was the main difference. The bulbs held a unique ability to absorb in any form of energy coming at them, fire being a type of energy, this would dictate the attributes of the beings to spawn forth from the bulbs. Unfortunate for Tsako, only a portion of the bulbs had been hit and she was most likely unaware of this fact. Though this would become clear when the first few hatchlings would burst forth, which would be soon.

Snowpaya understood the message and stood on the vines, then ran at Tsako. He jumped at her just before he could step on the bulbs, ice forming on his arms and back, and swiped at her face.

Her flames stopped as soon as she noticed the energy being absored instead of destructing the vines. She had no time to act out her next thoughts for the bulbs though. Snowpaya was closing in. Tsako pulled out her hand blades, while ducking to dodge his ice fist. She swung back up with her blades, a movement that would make a large cut across his chest if it made contact. This movement was fluid with her dodge as she made a swift turn.

Still within the small building, Drake listened to the sounds of the battles, needing the rest he could get. He stepped outside slowly, and the saw large plant growing within the city, and the fighting the fighting against it. What should I do? I should be helping, but I'm to tired from fighting Tark... I guess I should go closer to see if there is anything I can do... With that thought in mind, Drake ran towards the plant, approaching quickly.

Letum was slowly regaining consciousness inside the plant but he was still drained. "Nothing but a helpless child, how pathetic." He said, speaking of himself. "If I didn't plan tings out...I would be dead by now." He gave a weak smirk, his speaking soft and muffled from inside the vines of the plant. He could feel some of the bulbs were ready to be released though, this made his smirk grow. "Release." He said in a low tone as some of the bulbs, the ones that were hit earlier by the flames, let out a horrific screech as the sounds of tearing plant material echoed out. The bulbs moved viciously, some bursting and others being torn to shreds by the creatures inside.

The small creatures dropped to the ground, coated in a purple ooze. They had four legs, much like any average animal but couldn't be compared to any animal. They were pure abominations of nature. Their flesh was covered by reptilian scaling that was a deep hue of red. They had five serrated claws on the ends of all of their limbs, appearing to be able to grasp material should they need to. They stood an all fours, bony spikes protruding down their back on their spin, much like a extension to their spine to the bottom of their tails. After a short moment the creatures stood up, standing on their feet, their structure appearing to be closure to a human when standing but they looked heavily reptilian on the outside. Some of them opened their mouths to let out a warning hiss, their mouths oozing with saliva, coating their serrated teeth. Such saliva production implied a specific use, aside from simply breaking down food.

Their level of intelligence was unknown. Abilities. Still hidden. They were newborns, only six of them, two were still poised down on all fours as the other four stood erect. They only stood four feet tall but would they grow? How would they develop? This was something that should be an immediate concern, coming from the blood and powers

Snowpaya retracted his other arm to his chest, the ice that formed around it creating a rectangle of ice that the hand blades jabbed into and got stuck. He didn't have enough energy left to finish her off or even fight much more, and he was still slightly weighed down from the extra mass he'd absorbed. Snowpaya absorbed the ice from the hand that missed and let it form out of the side of his elbow as a blade aimed for Tsako's throat...but he didn't strike. He was hoping she wouldn't call his bluff and would stop fighting.

Right behind him, the bulbs exploded and released their contents. Snowpaya couldn't see what was behind, but he hoped he wouldn't become collateral damage.

Drake saw the creatures burst out of the bulbs, having stopped for breath. He looked down, thinking. What on earth are those? I there's a lot of them... I won't be able to help much with them around... Instead of continuing, he sat down behind a heavily damaged stone wall, obscuring his presence from the creatures. Pulling out his sword, he laid it on the ground, and began forcing a slight blend of his abilities onto the damaged area, which was one of the few methods that would be able to repair the special metal it was made of. Once the repairs were done, no awakened abilities would be able to damage it by attempting to take the ones used to repair it out. Once it was fixed, Drake stood back up. At least he could use the sword now, which had a new crescent-shaped curve where the damaged part had been. "Need any help?" he shouted out to his teammates.

Tsako used her Thermokinesis to make the hand blades incredibly hot to melt through the ice that was newly formed around them. She kept slashing at him and through the ice this way. Sure it wasn't very good for the sharpness of her blades but she could deal with that aspect later on. She noticed the exploding bulbs and tried to jump and kick herself away from the area, while kicking Snowpaya back into the beasts.

The ice was melted and Tsako's blades carved into Snowpaya's body with ease. He couldn't defend himself, and as he fell to one knee, Tsako jump-kicked away from the area using him as a launch board. The Wraith rolled backwards towards the beasts but not close enough to touch any of them. He landed on his back and laid there, his head swimming, the extra mass in his body weighing him down considerably. He simply waited for his body to start healing him slowly, over time.

Kage easily blocks the attack with his already draw sword. He follows up by quickly ducking down and slashing a leg. He knew John would easly counter. So Kage already prepares himself mentally for what might come next. He's done playing around. It's time to get serious, life's are at stake. He has to fight for not just his own life but for his fellow wraiths.
