Dark Tournament style FTW
Basic coliseum setup, a round arena raised off of the ground made of solid Adamantium, which spans a good hundred meters in diameter. Surrounding said indestructible platform is open ground, starting with simple grass and expanding to the surrounding trees until reaching, at near a half mile distance, upward climbing sheer cliffs.
Rules are as follows;
- First off, the rules that are already posted in the main sub forum.
- Any character who touches the ground outside of the ring for more then a ten second count, or equivalent three posts (real loose on the ten count ain't it?), will be disqualified from the match. This is literal Dark Tournament style fighting. So, be aware of where you're at, judges have the right to say your character was out of bounds for to long.
- Have fun, don't godmod, not complaining and leave me the heck alone until your match is finished.

Gaius walked across the grass field slowly, crossing to the metallic platform after a few minutes. He had never really enjoyed tournaments. But Asuma had told him he must, something about learning to better fight shinigami.
Gaius just shrugged, it was something he did alot. He had his orders and he would follow them to the letter, he was doubtful about winning this tournament, but he was confident he could make it quite far, not many shinigami knew how to fight Bounts either. Gaius finally reached the platform and turned around looking back in the direction he had come from. He leaned back against the metal and closed his eyes.
Waiting, it truly was a soldiers game, and Gaius was nothing if not a soldier. Still though his eyes were relaxed the rest of his sense were primed and ready to be sure he wasn't snuck up on by this "Hoa" he was to maim and kill.

Gaius had waited five days, completely holding in his reiatsu and expending nearly no energy the entire time so he wouldn't need to eat or sleep. He had just stood there for five days, completely still. Not effected by the storms and effects of nature that had passed over the days of waiting.
He sighed in exasperation and pulled himself up to sit on the edge of the metal platform. A moment later his gladius was out and he was carefully polishing and sharpening it's already razor sharp edge. He would wait out the rest of the day, after that he needed to go and find a soul of somekind to eat. It had been weeks since his last meal, and he was feeling the hunger.
((It's been five days, if he doesn't post by the end of today that means I win I'm pretty sure.))

(( Actually, you've won already. 5 days to the minute is how it's being done apparently, but you should PM TheWickedTruth and let her know. ))

((Alright will do))
Gaius shrugged his shoulders and sighed, he had been polishing the blade so long he was quite sure it could break through blindness. As for the edge, the damn thing could almost scratch the adamantium platform he thought, almost, but not.
He stood up and called for a runner, within moments a simple plus had arrived, after taking his message it shot off to delive Gaius' words to the tournament's master.
He layed down on his back and soaked up the heat, this had been a collossal waste of time. He hoped the next challenger was more worth his time...that soul had looked tasty, he hoped it returned.
