I have no idea. I think it's called alternative rock. ;D
Though sometimes I'm very tolerable and will listen to whatever. That's usually only at parties.
[EDIT] Oh, I also like metal and (some) techno. I like instrumental stuff, too. Soundtracks and such.

i try to listen to all kinds, except any kind of christian or country music, mainly i listen to rap, heavy metal, nu metal, rap rock, alternative, and some punk i also just got started with screamo, but i dont no of any good bands to listen to cuz i juz started listening to it.
