Bright looked over at dark smiling. She needed to get him to have fun. Bright then figured out what she needed to do. Bright walked back until she had some space between her and the water, she then started sprinting towards. Bright jumped high up into the air, landing with the big splash in the water. Bright opened her eyes to see fish swimming around her, she darted after one catching it in her mouth. She slowly resurfaced letting herself float up. Bright went up just far enough that Dark would be able to see her catch. Bright hoped to impress him with it......

After drinking his fill of water, the male Saighneian sat uncomfortably in the dirt at the water's edge, his ears flicking occasionally to dissuade eager insects from landing on him. He had just been thinking that at least it was fairly peaceful in the woodlands with the trees rustling softly and the river gurgling past, when he heard a rustling and a loud splash from where Bright had been standing. Besides the fact that drops had found their way onto Dark Ice's coat, which was annoying enough, Dark couldn't believe that Bright had just jumped into the river! It was dangerous doing that! Why if she had slipped, she could have hit her head and drowned! Well, it was a good thing that she had Dark Ice here, since if she did take too long to surface, he would save her as his dutiful nature required, but really, you'd think a grown adult would be a bit more responsible, and not act like some cub that had stolen away from her mother for an afternoon.
Being a bit realized to see that she was evidently fine, since she was holding a fish in her mouth, Dark just shook his head, "Well, you're going to regret getting so wet soon! The insects are going to be all over your fur as you dry...." What had she done all this for anyway? To catch a fish? Bleck, being from the mountains, Dark had never eaten fish as a cub and he had no desire to start now. He preferred a good sized buck or even a rabbit to scales any day....

Bright looked at Dark amazed at how he just sat there as she caught fish. Bright looked at Dark and sighed, what did she have to do to get him to have some fun with her. Bright crawled out of the river soaking wet. Bright tossed the fish over to Dark to watch over while she made her coat suitable. Bright shook her pelt throwing the water everywhere. Bright then looked for a nice patch of grass to roll in, she found it and it was perfect! It was even in the sun! Bright bounded over to it and started rolling around on her back getting herself dried up. She rolled onto her belly looking at Dark and said, "Dark we're not gonna be here long enough for the insects to get me." Bright looked at the fish and asked, "Hey dark are you going to eat that?"......

Dark simply watched and shook his head as Bright got herself dried off. When she threw the fish near him, he instinctively backed away with a sneer, what a disgusting sight it was, flopping a bit feebly and laying in the dirt all scaly. His annoyance was further raised as he felt drops of water spray onto him, and his pelt twitched as he tried to get the small bits of water to fall off, simply ignoring her statement about the insects. She was probably right, but that didn't mean he had to agree with her.... When she asked about the fish however, a look of prudish horror spread across his face, "What?! Eat the fish?! No way!" Why would he ever stoop to eating scaly creatures!
