 Luminara was strolling through the plains enjoying her time alone. She loved quite time like this but sometimes wished that someone would be there with her to enjoy the forest like she does. She continued walking until she reached a brook where she knelt down and started lapping up water, when she sees something as bright as she is across from her........

 Glow wasn't really paying much attention around him, he was hungry and thirsty. Since the water was so close he decided to quench that first instead, bending to the water he lapped some up before he noticed something almost glowing reflected across from himself. Looking up he saw a female that was as brightly coloured as he was "Hello there" he said simply, more than a little surprised there was someone else as shiny as him.

Luminara looked at the saigh across from her amazed. There was a saigh that was as bright as she was. She looked at him and said, "Why, hello there! What are you doing this day?" Luminara was amazed at the sight of this saigh. She then realized she needed to introduce herself. Luminara looked at the saigh again and said, "My name is Luminara. May I learn yours?" She looked at the bright saigh waiting for the answer....

Glow smiled broadly at the female "i'm just roaming around, failing at hunting mostly, having to live of fruit and things which is scarce this time of the year" he replied, not taking his eyes off her. what a beautiful name...Luminara he thought, then shook his head "well where are my manners, i'm Neon Glow, though mostly i just go by Glow, my parents thought it .... amusing" he said with a frown that showed it hadn't been such fun for the son as it had been for the parents.

Luminara smiled at Glow, trying to get him to like her. She looked at him and said, "Glow would you want to, maybe i dont know, spend time with me today?" Luminara hoped the answer was yes because there was something about Glow that Luminara liked. She couldnt quite put her paw on it. She looked at Glow with a warm smile waiting for his answer.

Glow almost glowed with pleasure, someone actually wanted to spend time with him? instead of teasing him about his colours?! "i sure would!" he said beaming with a big grin, "i'll just hop over this brook here" he said and jumped, but he'd misjudged it and landed half on the bank, with his back end in the water.

Luminara giggled as Glow fell halfway in the water. It was such a sight, Glows back end was a dreanch while his front end was completly dry. He looked hilarios. Luminara giggled again thinking about if that had been her how embarassed she would have been. She looked at Glow and asked, "Glow, would you like some help?" with a warm smile on her face.....

Glow cringed at first, *great she's laughing* but then he realised she wasn't laughing maliciously, he actually started laughing himself when he realised how silly he must look "no, i'm alright, it's not that deep and the bank isn't too high, and anyway i wouldn't want to let you get all wet and dirty because i'm a fool" he said smiling and getting out of the water, moving away a little he shook himself dry and then rolled in the warm grass "you should try this" he said meaning the rolling "it's warm and makes any itches dissapear" he said, legs waving in the air as he rolled.

Luminara looked at Glow warmingly, seeing how embarassed he was. Luminara listened to his words until he was done, but then rush to the waters edge, away from Glow. Luminara reached the edge and lauched herself in, becoming even more drenched then Glow was. Luminara gasped as the water reached her skin, it was so cold. Luminara got out of the water as fast as she could, shivering until she reached where Glow was. She then started rolling around just as he had been doing. Luminara got up after a while, turned towards Glow and said, "Ahhh thats better, now we look the same!" with a loving smile on her face.....

Glow looked over at Luminara, "hahaha yes i guess we do, don't we?!" he laughed, shaking his now dry and dusty fur off. He lay on his back and looked up at the sky "The sky is bright but no one complains about the colour of it he sighed softly.
