Early Life:

Omega was born in Anaheim, California but relocated to Osaka, Japan at the age of 1. It was here that he got his first taste of the professional wrestling business as his father, Joseph Ruelas Hernandez, had his own company known as Japanese Lucha Libre Productions (JLLP) where he was the head booker, while Omega's mother, Kana Miyamoto, was one of the top stars of the companies Joshi division. At the age of 10, Omega and his siblings were sent to live with their uncle back in Anaheim due to their parents not being able to dedicate as much time as they would have liked to them. At this point Omega began to act out, mostly as a means to get attention from his family. At the age of 13 Omega began experimenting with drugs offered to him by his classmates, and became very distant from his siblings and his family as a whole as a result, by the time he was 17 Omega had been admitted to a rehabilitation center to get help for his drug problem and what appeared to be mental health issues. He stayed at the Morning Side Recovery Center in Newport Beach, California for close to a year before he was released a month before his 18th birthday.

Upon being released he initially showed that he had gotten much better, but in May of the following year he relapsed and seemingly fell back into his old ways. It wasn't until July 9th, 2005 after attending a Ring Of Honor show, that he met CM Punk and was told about the straight-edge lifestyle. Eager to learn more he researched and decided to try it out for himself, it was also on that day that he decided he wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a professional wrestler.

Early Career:

Omega's father was initially against him going into the wrestling business do to how he had behaved in his early teen years, but decided to give him a shot but not as a wrestler but rather as a referee. He managed to end up being the only referee in JLLP after a mass roster exodus took a majority of the roster save for Omega, his mother, and two other wrestlers. After the roster exodus, Omega's father decided to shut down JLLP and they all moved back to Anaheim, at which point his parents agreed to train him to become a professional wrestler.

At the age of 19, Omega made his debut under the ring name Cyber Kid where he was easily defeated in a squash match. He continued to be used as an enhancement talent and rarely won any matches. On December 29, 2006 Cyber Kid won his first match albeit by disqualification after he was assaulted after losing the match already and the referee overturning the decision. The assault was used to write out the Cyber Kid character and allow for him to re debut under a new ring name.

Omega returned this time with the name of Vengeance, given a dark character that was painted pitch black and turning Heel for the first time in his career. Upon his re-debut he also won his return match defeating his younger brother Axel who was now under the Cyber Kid mask and being billed as Cyber Kid II. Vengeance continued to attack Cyber Kid II and even ripped off his mask on several occasions leading them to be booked in Loser Leaves Town Match which Vengeance lost. He returned a week later once again as Cyber Kid I and began teaming with his brother Axel as The Ultimate Cyber Kids. As a team they were constantly in pursuit of Tag team Gold but always fell short, but after one title match, Axel had enough and betrayed his brother and turned heel dropping the Cyber Kid II name and mask while repackaging himself as AXEL and also began using a much more rough style consisting of various strikes and cheap shots.

The feud between the two culminated in a second Loser Leaves Town Match, with Omega once again losing, but this was put in place to give a kayfabe reasoning behind Omega going on a Training Excursion to Japan.

While on his excursion he frequently wrestled in the Indy circuit primarily for the Matobi Pro Company stationed in Osaka where he got his first experience in Comedy Matches as he was a member of their comedy division primarily. The run however would end after he decided to go elsewhere to further expand his knowledge and he was able to appear on some NEX shows. After working some of the NEX shows his father decided it was best to head back home but instead Omega opted to go to Mexico for further training in the Lucha Libre style that his father had once used.

During his time in Mexico he primarily wrestled in the Indy circuit and occasionally was booked in the big promotions usually at their house shows and on the very bottom of the card. During his stay he was constantly on the losing end of matches, with several bookers deeming him a good prospect and felt making him lose would help build him up better, but it didn't amount to anything as Omega eventually went back to Japan due to frustration over his mistreatment. It was on this second excursion that he met with Dallas Cruz, after competing twice on a Matobi Pro card once in a comedy match and then later again in a serious match. He met her while he was out after the show talking with some of the fans and Dallas & Marshall both approached him with Dallas revealing she wanted to be a wrestler so Omega agreed to train her, this ultimately led to the two also forming a romantic relationship and were often booked together as a tag team on Matobi Pro shows.

Eventually Omega and Dallas returned to the States where Omega decided to try his hand at being booked as a Singles Star. He made his first appearance in the American Independent Circuit in GWR appearing as a Tweener where he laid out an open challenge for anyone in the back which was answered by then GWR Junior Heavyweight Champion Joey Desch, a man who would become a rival of Omega's during his first year, he went on to lose the match but impressed officials enough that he was signed to a developmental contract to EEW.

EEW (2009 - 2012)

After impressing officials Omega was signed to a developmental deal with EEW and was assigned to their developmental show Speed. Omega made his debut as a Tweener in a Triple Threat Match against fellow newcomers Andrew Thorne & Danny Thunder. Omega picked up the win after hitting Danny with the Spiraling Death Syndrome and pinning him. The next week he was booked in another Triple Threat Match this time against Nathan Graves & Jacob Meyer, the match was met with controversy as Meyer was awarded the win despite no showing and Omega picking up the 3 count on Graves. Afterwards Omega was approached by Andrew Thorne & Kyle Dracious to join their new group to help them all get promoted to the Main Shows such as Burn & Drown. Omega accepted and quickly established himself as a Heel as a result

The group was focused more on Thorne and his rivalry with Justin Amaze, with Omega and Dracious focusing on getting a shot at the EEW Speed World Title, which Dracious managed to accomplish by winning a Number One Contender's Match. This left Omega out to dry as he was booked in the Speed Battle Royal on the Show Opener. He suffered his first indirect loss as he made it to the final three in the Battle Royal before being eliminated, but after his elimination his fellow FWD alum and winner Alastor Adonilm approached him and offered him an armband with the letters FWD on it. Omega and Alastor proceeded to the back and would make their presence felt throughout all of One Night Stand.

They made an immediate impact by costing Andrew Thorne his match against Justin Amaze to help him win the vacant EEWS National Title showing that he was part of this new alliance also. Later they assisted Dracious in beating down Talon after the latter had won the vacant EEW Speed World Title. They offered an armband to Kyle also which he accepted signalling he had joined the group. During the night they were also joined by Brantley Summers after several of them participated in attempts to win the EEW Xtreme Championship from then champion Yuke Clepsydra and Humberto Hernandez.

On the following Speed the group was revealed to be named Velocity and was joined by Omega's manager and younger sister Nikki Blade, and Arc Celestial. During the night a tournament was announced to crown new EEWS Speed Tag Team titles. Originally he was scheduled to team with Alastor but he was taken out by Yuke before the match started forcing Omega to compete alone, regardless he ended up winning the match and advancing to the semi-final round. During the Semi-final round he decided to once more go it alone and managed to pick up another victory taking him to the finals, it was after this that he decided to pick Arc Celestial as his partner, where they ended up falling to the makeshift team of 187 & Joey Desch after Arc Celestial abandoned Omega during the match.

Afterwards Omega decided to focus on a singles career and distanced himself from Velocity, due to his impressive performance during the Tag Tournament he was awarded a shot at the EEW Estremo Title then held by Matt Draven. Omega capitalized on the opportunity and pinned Draze, the third participant in the match to not only pick up the win but the title as well. Due to the title being one assigned to the Drown brand, Omega was under the impression that he was bound to be promoted to the show, alas it wasn't meant to be as he was kept in Speed. During his reign he successfully defended it in a Three Way match against Draze and former champion Matt Draven, once again pinning Draze to retain the title this time. During this time he also began airing his grievances about being held down in Speed still despite holding a main roster title, turning him once more into a Tweener.

A week after defending it against Draze & Draven, Omega faced newcomer Jaykob O' Hara in a losing effort where afterwards he offered the newcomer a handshake, signalling at a possible Face turn. The next week Omega lost his Estremo title to Janelle Damone in what many call one of the best matches of the evening, and once again after losing he showed respect to his opponent thus further signalling at a Face turn.

Before Omega's face turn could be cemented EEW went on a hiatus thus leaving it up in the air. After a while EEW returned and Omega was immediately booked into a match to crown the first EEW X-treme TV Champion but failed to win the title. Once more Omega took a hiatus from EEW and returned during a promo where several past EEW stars confronted new owner Glacier Kadamas and aired his grievances about his lack of an opportunity in EEW. Omega was cemented to start a match series that would have him face off against several top names to try and prove himself but before anything could come of it EEW folded.

EWA (2010 - Present)

Around the same time that he signed with EEW, Omega also signed with EWA. In his first match he was booked in a Triple Threat match against Brody Robinson & Kyle Dracious with the match ending in a No Contest time limit draw. In his first EWA Pay-Per-View appearance, at Reign Of Legends, Omega participated in the Catch The Case Match where during the match he was targeted by the then mystery man named Lucious, but in the end Omega won one of the cases which earned him a Nexus title shot. At the next Banzai he fell to Creeker in the first round of a tournament to try and win the vacant title. Afterwards he took a small period of time off to recover from a minor foot injury ad returned on the 2nd episode of Turmoil teaming up with Velocity compatriots Nuke Fusion, Kyle Dracious, & his younger sister Nikki Blade to defeat The Marines, Lana Kayln & Brody Robinson. His next match was on the 4th episode with him teaming up with his sister Nikki in a losing effort to Johnny Bloody Raven & Joey Desch, it was during this match that his injured foot was re-injured so he took some more time off. He returned at Ultimatum 2 and competed three times during the night first failing to win the Nexus Championship in the Devil's Thirty Thirty match but he immediately cashed in his Catch The Case Briefcase on the winner, Creeker to defeat him and win the Nexus Championship for the first time.
