History:
In the world of Atreia, humans and balaurs are created to safeguard and watch over by Akhira, the god of Atreia. Eventually, the Balaur became obsessed with power and subjugation. Five of the Balaur rose to a height of strength above the rest, and became known as the five Dragon Lords. When Akhira refused to grant them the power they desired, the power to rival his own, they revolted and declared war on the god that created them. Akhira's hand was forced, and he created the twelve Empyrean Lords, beings of divinity and power to protect the world and his tower, named Eternity.
Some humans "ascended" to become Daeva and, like the Empyrean Lords, had wings and the ability to fight the Balaur. With time, enough Daevas rose to form an army. The Empyrean Lords would lead the Daeva into battle and fight ceaselessly. Eventually an attempt at peace with the Balaur was made. The five Dragon Lords were invited inside the barrier for peace talks, but before the peace-talks could begin, one of the Dragon Lords was slain by an unknown assailant. In the fighting that followed, the Tower of Eternity was destroyed, resulting in the cataclysm that broke Atreia in half. Those Empyrean Lords who opposed peace came to power in the upper and dark part of the world, and became known as the Shedim Lords. Those who had desired peace became the Seraphim Lords and ruled over the lower half of Atreia.
Those that lived in the light part of the world call themself Elyos as their land is named Elysea. On the other side, those that lived in the dark part of the world are called Asmodian with their land named Asmodae.
Despise the upper part was never been able to see light, the Asmodian's appearance has changed due to the effect of darkness. As their hands became claw-like, their feet became talons. Their back grow manes, their skin tone becomes blue-ish grey. The darkness made their complexion deepen, and their eyes grew red adapting to the absence of light. They have become a beast. Thirsty for blood, as they do not have sunlight in order to grow crops for food. Hatred grows towards the Elyos and Balaurs, as the darkness be with them and swallowing them, slowly.
While the Asmodians are suffering much in their cold and dark world, the Elyos are enjoying their life as the descendants of Atreia much. With enough food, supplies and warm sunlight. For this reason, Asmodian sees Elyos as their other great enemy beside Balaurs. They invade the Elyos land to steal food, clean water, materials they do not have in Asmodae. War had also been declared between these two races for over hundred years in the central heart of the two worlds named as Reshanta the Abyss, which is also the land of Balaurs.
Story/Plot:
It has been over 103 years since the humans has been killing each other for light and to survive. Triniel, the Shedim Lord of Death has been ordered to bring down the Seraphims and Elyos. She has a plan. Triniel took in a baby boy, whom his parents were Daeva of Dark and Deava of Shadow, to train him into a great assassin. Val is the boy's name. Unlike other assasins. Val was trained to use multi weapons and magics.
15 years later, Val has grown up to be a handsome asmodian teen. Aggressive, cruel, cold blood are the words to describe him. In the name of Shedim Lords, he eliminated Kromede the Corrupt, a famous rebelious Asmodian; Mabangtah, a krall who sided the Elyos and Lady Ariel, the Seraphim Lord of Light. He has now become a hero of Asmodae and is highly respected. Val is soon recieved a mission from Asphel, Shedim Lord of Darkness to assasin the Elyos Brigade General of Sanctum, Endymion in Reshanta the Abyss on the day the general and his elite legionaries will attack the Balaur's main fotress.
The battle between Balaurs and Endymion's legion was furious. Val waited his chance to ambush. Just like Triniel, Val has learned the strategy while other enemies rush into battle, he hangs back, analyzes his opponents, finds their weaknesses, and then strikes. Fast and deadly. But he has underestimated Endymion. The general barely has a weakness and is tough as the Balaurs. Although Val accomplished his mission by successfully assasinating Endymion in the end, he is injured badly and could possibly die.
Obelisk, the stone where his soul is bound has been destroyed. That moment, he knew he was betrayed by the Shedims. Smirking, he curse the Shedim Lords in front of Tiamat, the Dragon Lord of Reshanta. His soul and memory fragments spreaded all over Atreia after Tiamat put him out of misery...
Another hundred years later, the war between the three races keeps on. Val's soul was said to be trapped in Dark Poeta, the dark side of Elysea. Many Elyos and Asmodians went in to search for Val to grant them infinite power. But none ever come back.
*** Must read: You, are an Elyos (seme) who can be accidentally unlocked the path to Dark Poeta by killing five blue balaurs/searching Val for power like others. Help Val to to retrieve his body and memory fragments. In the story, you can either be a Priest, Warrior, Magician or an Archer. (This whole concept is taken from an mmorpg, Aion. It might be a crappy game but it does have a good story plot. So no criticsm please.)
