Paloma prances among the trees. She'd "escaped" her father again. It's a game they play. He hasn't actually come looking for her since she was a child, figuring she'd be alright on her own for a bit.

She never stayed out for long. Being alone was boring.

Crispin squinted as he stepped into a clearing. It was shaded and dark in the trees, so the noonday sun was a harsh contrast. The boy ran his hand through his hair and stretched. He then bellowed out a yawn and flopped down to rest for a bit. "A nap in the sun wouldn't be a crime, I'm sure."

Paloma nearly trips over the napping Pae as she continues on her afternoon romp through the woods. "Oh! Hi!" she exclaims.

It seems the Guardians had granted her another playmate. It happens a lot.

She bends down so she's blocking the sun out of his face. "Middle of the forest is a funny place to sleep. I should know, I do it all the time." She smiles and nods sagely. "What's your name? I'm Paloma."
