I'm sure we all want to remember our ancestors who have passed away. The Japanese believe that a person dies two deaths, the physical death, then the death of their memory. While you may want to keep the memory of them alive, not all of us have a chouchin or a river to float it in. My Japan would like to help you remember your ancestors by putting their names on virtual lanterns and sending them down a virtual river. It's virtually the same! (sorry...bad job, me...)
To put your ancestor's name on a lantern simply fill out this form, put it in a post in this room, and I'll take care of the rest! You may submit as many names as you'd like. One name per lantern. One name per form. You can put multiple forms in one post though!
