The Academy Tower is now a standalone faction. Those who wish to join as a teacher or to enlist in the Special Forces. Maybe do so by posting their profile in the Profile section.
Those who wish only to enroll as a student do not have to join the faction. They may simply post as students in the Enrollment forum. There is a fee of 500 Shillings to become a student.
This is the new system that will be used to determine one's level as a student of magic:
- Mage: This is where all students start out. Once they join the Academy, they become Mages. Mages must pass an exam, after writing at least 500 words learning each spell, that will be given to them by the Leader. Mages learn basic spells.
- Sage: There are 5 different types of Sages. Dark, Water, Light, Earth, Wind. Once promoted, a Sage must choose one of these 5 elements. This will be the element that they will work to master from then on. Once they have mastered it (at least 500 words per spell) the Leader and the Sage's Element Master, will provide an exam.
- Sorcerer/Sorceress: At this point, one element & basic spells are mastered, education may be continued but this is the highest level one can reach (with the exception of the Leader and the Elemental Masters). A Sorcerer may choose to attempt mastery of another element (at which point the process of Sage begins once more).
- Elemental Master: A first come, first serve position (unless otherwise stated by the Leader). Elemental Masters are the leaders of their element and all the Sorcerers and Sages with the same element. Second only to the Leader.
