Role-play Ranks:
Role-play ranks are given to every member, and are a direct expression of their effectiveness as RP'ers. Literacy level (proper use of spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence composition, writing flow and enjoyability, ect.) and RP skill (character consistency and believability, visual and sensory detail, plot/story advancement, realism, ect.) are the two components that make an effective RP'er. When a member is ranked, their RPing is evaluated by literacy level and RP skill. Depending on how effective a member is at displaying both within their RPing is how we decide their rank.
There are five ranks in total, from the absolutely horrible, moderately good, and extremely awesome. RP rank isn't set in stone; there are several ways to improve your rank, but it falls back to how effective you are as a RP'er. The more effective you are, the higher your rank can go.
Following are the five ranks in descending order (least to most effective), with a small blurb about the details of each rank. Provided with each rank is a list of members who hold the rank they're listed in. For a closer look at the role-player type associated with each rank, take a visit to the Role-player Types thread.
