I just delved into Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles series [starting with Interview with the Vampire], checked it out of the public library. I love it so far. What's more, the movie adaptation of Queen of the Damned was fantastic, though I've never had more mixed emotions for a character than I do with Lestat.

I've never read her--but I heard she was good at first and became less than good with time. =/ I've never really been interested.

I think every Anne Rice fan in the universe ate their own eyes when you said the movie adaption of Queen of The Damned was good.
