@ Marokia: I'd be happy to join you.. And I too got pissed off after I heard they did "Alejandro".. D:<

Miss Fiendette Hold on, I'll link some Kids Bop covers of Lady Gaga's songs: "Telephone""Alejandro"Okay, where to start. The alternating between childrens' voices alone is just unnecessary, much like Kids Bop in general. The recreating of the instruments and beats in the songs are laughably bad compared to the original; Gaga's versions are stellar professional studio quality, whereas Kids Bop's sound like a thirteen-year-old on a keyboard she just got for her birthday. Furthermore, they changed the lyrics in "Alejandro". I understand if it were a swear word or something but they just changed half the song, even in places where it wasn't needed (although I get changing "but her boyfriend's just like her dad" to "but her boyfriend's like her friend" because children could interpret that as incestuous rather than an overprotective boyfriend). Pretty much, Kids Bop is just generic covers of popular songs. The only difference is the quality is worse and it's children instead of trained professionals.
A part of me died inside when I listened to some of those. Then it came back as a vengeful, bloodthirsty cadaver, turned the god-awful crap off, and envisioned myself murdering whoever produced this crap.
Frankly, I'm surprised GaGa gave permission for these abominations. That is, if she even actually had any sayso in this at all.
Did any of you guys know that Kidz Bop already ruined Paparazzi in one of their previous albums?

Kidz Bop was pretty much invented and supplied for church kids. Parents that want their kids to not feel sheltered/smothered, but they still want them innocent. It's wrong, trying to force their children into a certain path of life using a facade to trick them into accepting it.
I did some research, and to my horror, I find that Kidz Bop has done an 80's album, as well as a Beatles album They even managed to ruin the highly sexual California Gurls by Katy Perry and I find it disturbing that someone would Kidz Bop Not Myself Tonight by Xtina, considering the meaning behind the lyrics. On a more amusing note, Kidz Bop has done two songs by Justin Beiber

Oh my god... the Beatles have been ruined also?*headdesk into oblivion* I now feel sorry for Xtina and Katy Perry... Kidz Bop shouldn't even touch any female pop star... Okay, Kidz Bop may have improved Justin Bieber's songs.

Actually, I guess they didn't change much of the lyrics to California Gurls. They even left in the lines "boys break their necks", and even worse, "so hot we'll melt your popsicle" which is a euphemism for giving a man an orgasm
even then, how the hell could they make children sing a song as explicit and adult as Not Myself Tonight? As I said, ***** fodder.

Whoops, forgot to post their Paparazzi abortion cover. "Paparazzi"By far this isn't the worst compared to their covers of "Telephone" and "Alejandro", but nonetheless it's still pretty bad. The only thing they changed was "eyeliner and cigarettes" to "eyeliner and all the rest", and "that s**t on the radio" to "that song on the radio". Both are understandable since smoking isn't really recommended for little ones and s**t would be censored regardless, but by far the worst is "Alejandro" without a doubt.

IamFameMonsterAl3OMT Wow.... How long is Kidz Bop going to last?! gonk I mean they've already done 18 albums and why do they make kids sing them??? I mean really...... They also have Alejandro on there too.... Who actually buys this?? The only people that come to mind are little, naive kids who see stuff on TV and go like "I want that! It was on TV!!!"..... sweatdrop I was like that... sweatdrop But again, I think Kidz Bop is going to be over soon... As long as artists are still coming out with amazingly awesome songs that make other people want to sing, then Kidz Bop is going to keep trying to take over the world with terrible kids' singing. crying cry
