Many years ago, a young boy named Akihiro lived in Japan with the rest of his family. His mother died while giving birth to the youngest child, Ran. Akihiro, and his two sisters--Ayame and Ran--were forced to live with their father, who was extremely strict. Each child had a job to do for the family. If a child didn't do what he asked, he would do horrorific things--like burning their fingertips. Due to this, each child was very obident.
Akihiro's job was to go into the market and buy food, which was a very easy task for him. One day, he met a woman while shopping. He stayed away from her because he thought she was a geisha due to her pale skin tone and her lips the color of roses. She asked him to do into the forest to pick her berries being as she could no longer do it. Being a nice, obident boy, Akihiro said ok and went into the forest to pick her berries. While doing so, Akihiro was attacked by a brown wolf. The pain was too much to bear after such a long time, that he went back to the woman, and told her what had happened. She examined it and bit where he had been attacked. The woman was a vampire. The wolf was a werewolf. Akihiro ran off before the vampire venom got into his blood stream. He ran to the brook outside of his home and splashed water on his arm, then it happened. He lost his pulse, he became colder, and his skin turned pale. Then it stopped. The vampire and werewolf venom had mixed while inside him. Needless to say, it was long and very painful.
When he looked at himself once more, his black hair turned blonde and his changed from blue to black. So he ran off and became and outcast.
Two years later, Akihiro's sister, Ayame, sat outside of the brook on the edge of their land, staring at the moon. She stuck her feet in the brook. She heard a story about a magic fish that if it bit you would give you a wish. However, this brook only had a cursed fish, which happened to be the one that bit her. She passed out and awoke to find that she was no longer human, she was a bird. Later on, she became human again and stuck her hand in the rain, something she had not felt in a long time. It burned her skin like acid. She ran off like Akihiro and never returned.

Akihiro's kind became the Jun-Kin.
Ayame's kind became the Kohaku Ai.
Both species have turned against each other since then.
Who knows what they are now.
