After all the initial laughter had settled from his mind, Zyan's thought turned inwards. Inebar's reaction was natural. Shock was something to be expected.
'I guess I'm just.. Not out of the shocked point yet.'
But it was slowly starting to sink in. He, an outcast from society, was about to be a father. In a short amount of time, there would be little ones running/swimming around, and they would be his children. Not children whom he was forced to watch after ((coughcoughdryllskidscoughcough)). But his very own flesh and blood.
Zyan sat down, slowly at that. 'My children..' The thought kept echoing in his mind.
'Namaste is wonderful, but I'm horrid. They're going to be outright monsters because of me. All the evil that is inside of me...' he sighed, 'Will no doubt be passed on to them.'
He hung his head in shame. Maybe had he not followed Morticia way back when.. just maybe, maybe he'd be a better candidate for the father of Namaste's children. 'But then again.. Knowing how the fates work.. I might have never met Namaste had it not been for my doom and gloom attitude.'
'So maybe I've done a few bad things in my past..' he chuckled, 'Okay, a few is a huge understatement. But still, that doesn't mean that these kids will be terrible. I mean, Namaste is amazing. They'll likely take after her much more than myself. I mean since they are coming out of her.. I'm still not exactly sure how this whole thing works.. But thats not the point.'
'A with a family like this, and all the rest of the rugrats that will be running around; one thing is for sure,' Zyan smiled and looked over at Namaste and Inebar and Ishmael in turn, 'We are most definitely going to have our hands full.'

--Namaste laid there in Zyan’s arms wondering if he was asleep. It was so unbelievable to think that she was going to be a mother…have her own little family. More siblings soon…Neices and nephews…and sons and daughters. It was almost too much for one day.
She presed her hooves to her stomach wondering when she’d feel them move. She was scared. She’d never had a mother, not really. What if she wasn’t a good mom? What if she did it wrong?
She had no experience like this, she’d had no experience of most any kinds before that at all. She didn’t know what to think. Excitement had been her first feeling. It had spread through her body like wildfire, everything was fantastic. Even her body, though quite lethargic and sick, felt better.
But then fear had set in, she was scared. She’d never had a mother. She didn’t know what a mother meant or what felt like to be one. It was just a distant indinsct memory. Flashes of purple hair and blue skin, someone who had never been there.
She had been sick with worry, when her father had come to her and kissed her head tenderly. “You’re going to be an excellent mom.”
She had asked, “How do you know?”
“You’re not your mother. You love him.” He had left her to think of it.
She did love him, he was all hers. She was ready, but scared. But maybe that was natural.
