I still have yet to revise my character's profile and at the moment I have only a few minutes to spare so I can't do it, but I PROMISE to get around to it... eventually.
Whenever I get the chance, I will post a link to a really in-depth analysis on Seto Kaiba's character that someone did on another site. It pointed out some things about him that would change the relationship between him and Akira. Not that they were dating or anything, but I wanted her to be as IU as possible. I'm not into shippings of any kind, especially if they are not realistic. Again, thanks for reading this. I'll probably get around to editing her profile and separating my author notes probably later this week. If I get to it. I hope I do.
I MIGHT just have to create an rp from scratch. I'm just afraid of the kind of players I might get, f*cking with things the way I wanted them to be. And who's up for an YGOTAS rp?
I think I'm kidding.

OK PEOPLE, I've edited it as you have after considering your sugestions. It's on the first page, because I didn't want to have 30 versions of it. In this post I want to have some outside thoughts in addition to my profile.

The link I said I'd post yesterday, all credit goes to the original author and it is a lot of reading, I warn you. It does offer some insight to his character that makes me think that maybe my profile is a little lacking. I realize now that maybe I want to add more but I'm not so sure. Maybe you can help me with that.
Some things I'd like to point out:
1)The OC Chise and her relationship with Akira: So I have this little friend of hers (who's profile I'm not doing because she's minor outside of my fanfics) who I said was cheery and the complete opposite of her more solemn friend. How do they get along while Akira can't stand other happy people like Tea?
Well, for one, Chise isn't stereotypically happy. She has a dark side that Akira is attracted to, and that's because of her nymphomanic tendencies. Akira was raised in an environment of restriction and chasity and while it seemed like Pegasus wanted to pimp her out (by dressing her in provocative outfits) in reality, he wanted to keep her away from anyone who would take her from him. Chise came into her life and Akira learned more about the world, as well as herself, through her friend. Chise is happy, not because her life is exciting, but because she refuses to let things get to her, unlike Akira, who is emotionally defeated at every turn. Chise doesn't back down, even when her love interest (Bakura) rejects her consistently. She keeps going in a kamikaze-style way until she gets what she wants, regardless of the consequences. Also, she's a tad off-kilter, and unlike most other happy people in the series, her social skills involve being forward and making everyone feel uncomfortable instead of trying to make friends. Akira admires this and that's one reason why they get along.
Another reason is that they both get along is because of their dark sense of humor. Even though Akira seems serious, she has a sense of humor, albeit gross and vulgar, and Akira doesn't show it because she knows when not to showcase inappropriate behaviour. Chise just doesn't give a s**t, and is outwardly vulgar and pokes fun at things most people would get offended by. Akira is restrained by her social upbringing as a "princess" and so she is attracted to Chise because Chise just says whats on her mind even while Akira cannot voice her opinions. Akira often mutters things under her breath when she feels compelled to say something and she bottles up so many words that it occasionally bursts outward in a crude fashion unbeffiting her personality. Chise doesn't have this problem because she says whatever whenever it pops into her head.
They also share many secrets between them, and the awkward girl-on-girl moments spawn from Akira's repressed sexuality and Chise's need to be sexual. Their friendship is more drastic and they depend on each other for thier sanity, unlike the 4Kids friendship prevalent between the other YGO characters which is dependent on children's card games and the script.
2)Akira's upbringing. While the reasons why she resents her uncle seem at bit immature, I feel that I need to point out WHY she grew up the way she is. She was never physically absused, or even verbally, but the abuse she recieved was psychological. The Millenium Eye was overused by Pegasus to keep his niece in line. Akira lived in fear for 7 years, afraid that the wrong thought or mental image would land her in trouble. She spent most of her time trying (and failing) to keep her mind blank but Pegasus still found out things. She was living with him during the time where she would be in puberty, and any embarrassing thought was exploited out loud by her uncle.
Also, in one of the fanfictions I wrote, (don't have a copy), there was one punnishment Akira recived often. There was an undeveloped sublevel under the basement of Castle Pegasus, with no windows and only one door. It was pitch black and cold and whenever Akira disobeyed or even thought about disobeying Pegasus, he would put her in this sublevel, which I called "The Hole", to spend several hours alone down in complete darkness. Akira was always haunted by the sounds of running water, which she could not locate, and the occasional creaking which she could not identify. The after the first few times Pegasus threw her in The Hole, she got over it, but then he forced her to stay down there for a 24-hour period, which at some point Akira could have sworn she heard what sounded like another person moaning or breathing. The experience so scarred her that she was straight, up until she first starts trying to escape during Duelist Kingdom. Pegasus gave up on throwing her in The Hole and so he briefly sends her to the Shadow Realm, which was bad enough , but then when he puts her soul back in her body, her body was in The Hole for several days apparently and she wakes up nearly frostbitten.
Though Akira does forgive her uncle eventually, the memories of the castle haunt her to the point where she still is afraid to act out, even though she moved to Domino.
3)The personalities of Akira and her friend: I made them so yin and yang that I feel it's nescessary to point it out in another bullet. Akira, is as I said before, a solemn and quiet woman who internalizes most of her emotions, MOST, I said for the b***h does come out sometimes. Her pain comes from the loss of her mother and aunt, the only family she had that she didn't fear and she felt 100% safe with, even though she loved Pegasus dearly, she still feared him and perhaps loved him out of this fear. Akira is idol-worshipped (or at least fears that she is) for being attractive and being the heir to Industrial Illusions, but all she really wants people to notice about her is her singing voice. Her dream of being a famed prima donna is not progressing favorably, although she has a pretty voice, her stage presence echoes the anxiety she feels inside and she appears very fidgety and nervous to the point where it sometimes interferes with her actual singing. For this reason, she is unsuccessful in her goals. Akira is artistic and deep, always thinking, usually brooding, and finds happiness in very little places. I don't think I made her emo, and I can see why people may judge her to be so, but I think she just has alot weighing heavily on her mind. She dwells on things more than nessecary and that often makes for anti-socialness, except that Akira isn't anti-social, she just not keen on talking to eveyone she meets and trusts very few people. Her dream of singing on stage is not so much for the entertainment of the masses, but more so she can fall into another world, a world she can feel freedom in, and in this world she can find the strength to be among others.
Chise, on the other hand: total opposite. She cheery and tries to be sociable, although her forward nature and rude comments turn off more people than not. She's knows she's doing it, and while she doesn't always intend to gross people out, she does get a kick out of it. Chise doesn't have to dwell on things alot because she DOESN'T even bother to think about what she's doing. She's not very mature, and while Akira can't stand immaturity, tolerates it in Chise because Chise is the person that Akira can never be. They fit together perfectly, admiring the strengths in each other while protecting each other's weaknesses. Chise has an unhealthy worship of Akira because she feels worthless and ugly, and Akira loves Chise because she feels freedom with her and knows that Chise sees the person inside. And yes, I think I might have did a near profile on my minor joke character, though I left out the nyphomanic parts.
4)Contrasting Akira and Kaiba: It sounds like, and it USED to be that they had alot in common when I first made Akira thats what I had intended, but I don't want a carbon copy of another character, not a female Kaiba. They still have alot in common, they've both lost their parents at an early age, they still are affected in their adult lives by the abuse they suffered by the hands of their guardians, they are distant from others, Kaiba only close to Mokuba and Akira only close to a select few. Let's see...they both are talented duelists, Kaiba is the CEO of a multi million dollar comapny and Akira is the heir to one, both are stylish, etc. But the main difference is that Akira is not completely heartless. She's sensitive, and gentle, and genuienely cares for people although she doesn't show it, and her dreams revolve around a world that has nothing to do with Duel Montsters. Kaiba is, well... not Akira, and I hope people can see the difference (with or without having to read this section). I think they can be friends possibly, if they tried. Except that they haven't.
Whatever other notes I'd like to add I'll add some other day. If you guys could read this in addition to her profile, that would be cool. I'm offering insight to her character that the profile doesn't not, so...read it. Please?
