I just finished making my very first simfile for Stepmania and have uploaded it to BemaniStyle.com. I'm really excited and I am happy with the stepcharts that I made for the song. mrgreen
My first song that I have made is 'There Will Be Tears' by Miranda Cosgrove. I have step charts for ALL difficulties for single player. Beginner is a level 1 song, Light Mode is a level 4, Difficult is a level 6, Expert is a level 8 (but is borderline from being an 8 or a 9), and Challenge is (for me) too hard for me to do on my dance pad at a level 14, you may wanna do it with ur keyboard for that one.

You do need to register at the Bemanistyle website to be able to download my file. Registration is completely free though.

Stepmania is AWESOME, and I honestly like it BETTER than Dance Dance Revolution because it offers like EVERYTHING that DDR does, but you can customize EVERYTHING about the game from themes to characters to your music and more. I have designed my own personal theme for Stepmania that I use and it is SO cool I LOVE it!!! mrgreen
I will post more in this thread when I make more Stepmania Files uploaded and available for you to download. Please feel free to comment on any of my files to let me know what you think of them. I also do take requests for songs so please feel free to ask if there is a song that you would like me to make step charts for by Miranda Cosgrove.
The next Miranda songs I am planning to do eventually are 'Headphones On' and 'Brand New You'.
Other songs I am currently in the process of making but aren't MC songs are:
'How Do You Like Me So Far?' by the Clique Girlz
'Super Rockstar Girl' by Sofie
'Saviour (Adam Young Remix)' by Lights
If you like my simfiles please rank them with a 10 so other people will find the songs more easily. If you don't like them, please don't rank it but comment by PM what you don't like about them.

NEW ~ I have changed the file for There Will Be Tears.
I changed the music file from an mp3 to an Ogg so now you should be able to play the song on In The Groove 2 Arcade Machines.
I also have ADDED standard difficulty level 7 steps for DOUBLES play mode for the song. Check it out!!!

I was hoping that the songs I made would be playable on arcade In The Groove 2 machines, but I tried to load them from my USB stick and they didn't even appear in the songs folder at all. Even if they had appeared on the listed songs in my folder, I wouldn't have been able to play them anyway as I discovered today that the machine at my arcade will not play songs longer than 120 seconds. There were a couple of other songs I had put on my drive that DID show up (not ones I had made myself) but when I tried to play them it told me that they were too long to play and the limit is 120 seconds. So even if I was able to figure out what is making my files to not appear and find a way to make it appear on the list on the arcade machine, there will be the problem of the songs being too long... So um yeah, that was quite disappointing as I tried to do a lot of extra stuff just so that they could be playable on ITG2 machines...[sigh]
If any of you guys know what I can do to maybe like make the music files and stepcharts for only like 120 seconds or less without having to redo like everything, and um know why the file won't show up at all in the ITG2 custom songs folder, you would be most amazing to help me out on this problem.
But hey, tis cool just being able to play the songs on Stepmania and all. But still it would be nice to be able to play them on ITG2 too and promote Miranda Cosgrove & the Clique Girlz by playing their songs at the arcades, ya know? hehe

I have some really good news!!!
I have gotten my songs to work on In The Groove 2 arcade machines!!! WooT wOOt!!! biggrin

I didn't know you like Lights, Smurfay. I saw her in concert in Toronto last year. She is really good. Do you like Owl City too?

I am in the works of a new simfile for Miranda's new song "Dancing Crazy" for you to be able to play on Step Mania!!!

I have finished 2 difficulty levels for both Miranda Cosgrove - Dancing Crazy & also for Bittersweet by Sophie Aboud.

For those of you who love Bridgit Mendler and/or Lemonade Mouth the Disney Channel movie and love to dance, I have some very exciting news for you!!! I have finished making a simfile for the song 'Determinate' by Bridgit Mendler & the cast of Lemonade Mouth.

Here we have Determinate, an awesome song to dance to from the Disney Channel movie 'Lemonade Mouth' starring Bridgit Mendler. Yeah, unfortunately bemanistyle no longer hosts stepmania simfiles anymore which is such a shame because it makes it so much harder to find any decent simfiles on the web anymore... But yeah, I have found a new place to host the files so you can download them.
